I would like to start by saying that nothing compared to how nice and lovely the people were. To start our experience, we had a bit a trouble with the GPS as it did not lead us down the correct roads. Upon calling the owners, they guided us towards the right path to the bungalow. The road is paved and very scenic, absolutely stunning views and you can feel how clean the air is up there. The travel takes approximately 30-45 minutes from the main road. Reaching the Captain's Lake, we were stunned by how picturesques the location is, highlighting simpler times and the outstanding beauty of nature. When we arrived, we were greated by a very nice lady, who was the owner of "Rural Household". The lady walked with us and we talked about the place and Montenegro. We decided to eat directly there, because we wanted to try real Montenegrean food, and what I can say is that the food was delicious and not only that, but everything was made up there, locally. We absolutely loved that. The room has an amazing view and was very cozy, but one aspect to be kept in mind is that there is no heating, no electricity and no signal. What we omitted is the aspect of "no heating", thus our starting road trip of Montenegro coast visiting did not leave us prepared to stay the night, as we did not have any warmer clothes other than a pair of jeans each and a thin coat. To be honest, we did not expect it to be that cold, but up there was really cold (we also had the bad luck of a really windy weather and cloudy skies). We decided not to stay the night, to our biggest regret, we really wanted to see the stars and I had a special plan for my girlfriend, but unfortunately, due to personal reasons, we can not risk that she is cold. We hope that we can make it there next year, during middle of summer, and this time fully prepared, and to stay a few days, as the lake and the view is absolutely amazing and the people are the friendliest and nicest people we have ever met.

Το Lake Skadar Paradise είναι στην Ποντγκόριτσα, σε απόσταση 21 χλμ από Πύργος Ρολογιού Ποντγκόριτσα, και έχει κήπο, βεράντα και θέα στο βουνό. The flat was very clean and well equipped. We had every thing there like drinks und snacks. Our host was very friendly. The house is directly at the lake so that you have an amazing view and it is absolutely quiet. This is a place for nature lovers.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious and it is a short walk to many attractions including Old Bridge. The hosts are super friendly and helpful and greeted us with delicious homemade lemonade. The home is filled with stunning art from regional artists and feels like staying in an art gallery. We loved our stay here and would definitely return if life takes us back to Podgorica.

I have stayed at Casa Ra in Podgorica, and the place is truly amazing. Rooms are very clean! It has everything you need for short or longer stay. I enjoyed early morning coffee on the big terrace - it is so peaceful and all you can hear is birds’ song. It is unimaginable that such place is so peaceful and has its own privacy, but just 5-6 minutes ride away from the city center. The rooms are very clean, well equipped, everything is as in the photos, and the hosts are very nice and helpful. They organized a taxi for me as well. I cannot recommend the place enough, and can’t wait to come back. I have stayed at few places in Podgorica, but Casa Ra overcomes them all! Truly recommend!!!

Το House of peace είναι στην Ποντγκόριτσα, σε απόσταση 4 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Εκκλησία της Ιερής Καρδιάς του Ιησού και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και... Όλα ήταν φανταστικά.. Ήταν πραγματικά ότι περιμέναμε. Έχουμε κάνει πολλά ταξίδια και έχουμε μείνει σε πολλά μέρη. Το σπίτι αυτό ήταν διαφορετικό. Ήταν άνετο, ευρύχωρο, με ότι μπορείς να φανταστείς.. Από πιρούνι μέχρι μηχανή για καφέ. Τι να περιγράψω... Και το καλύτερο από όλα η οικοδέσποινα. Μια φοβερή κυρία με το χαμόγελο να σε καλωσορίσει και να σε φιλέψει με ότι έχει... Μας έχει σκλαβώσει η καλοσύνη της πράγμα δυσεύρετο στην εποχή που ζούμε.

Το Balabani Local Stay βρίσκεται στην Ποντγκόριτσα, σε απόσταση 14 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Πύργος Ρολογιού Ποντγκόριτσα και παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, βεράντα... A charming family runs the place: we were met by Tiana, her husband, and their sweet little daughter. In the morning, their mother made us the tastiest coffee, and their father offered figs from the trees on the property. Also, we had to leave early but changed our plan and stayed there an extra hour, as it was so cozy and tranquil: swings in the green grass yard, a big wooden table under the vineyard trees, a picturesque dog, and a funny little kitten playing with us. The apartment itself was clean and had 2 sleeping places on 2 floors (we sleep separately with my better half). Everything was clean and tidy. Would come back again!

Easy access from the airport and very clean. Breakfast was great and the staff was exceptional. Mladen especially was very accommodating.
