For an alternative to the restaurant facilities, why not make use of an outdoor dining area, available for all units at the bed and breakfast. The units feature a private bathroom, free toiletries and bed linen. The cabin was great and the service was excellent. We ate a breakfast there and all our dinners and had a choice of what we Would like. We had a variety and everything was excellent. Beautiful location and loved being able to swim in the lake at the end of the garden. We booked a kayak tour and a taxi on our way from the ferry to San Juan del Sur also and the driver was waiting when we disembarked. So helpful and welcoming at Rosa’s and we would tell anyone to head there if asked for a recommendation.

The view was incredible, super easy access from Balgue but also super peaceful and quiet. You feel disconnected when you are there. We also appreciate that they found us a guide to hike the Conception volcano, and they pre-booked our ferry tickets with the car. We will come back !

The room is simple, clean, and has some nice touches of attention. The private balcony is fantastic with hammocks and a small table, and they have a couple of surfboards for rent. The location is great, walking distance to the surf break and some local restaurants. Marc however also cooks delicious meals himself!

The communal kitchen is well-appointed. The wifi coverage is excellent. Poppy the dog and Blimp the cat are adorable ambassadors. Louis, Nick, and the team are friendly and extremely responsive. This is a special place to return to after a day of adventure in San Juan. It is also an incredible value.

An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!
