The unit was immaculate and spacious, and very modern. There was even a rainhead shower option. Bed was comfortably firm and there is a heat pump in the room if needed. Breakfast was already prepared and included a variety of options. Highly recommended!

Wonderful accommodation! Breakfast was extremely thoughtful and delicious. The whole stay exceeded our expectations. Views from the room are incredible, especially if you catch the sunrise. Location is great, can walk to centre of town. Do note: the driveway is very steep and long (it is a shared driveway for multiple houses) so walking back up may be difficult for some. This was our best accommodation in New Zealand. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks Maree and Mike (and Dougal)!

Very unique homestead. Well appointed throughout, loved the rich woodwork. John was a great personable host, and served up a great breakfast. Had a few glasses of wine on the porch with another guest couple in the rain. Could have stayed longer if we had the time.
