The host was very helpful and courteous. Gave us tips for our stay. House and room very clean. Quiet at night.

Kay and Hank were wonderful hosts, who welcomed us warmly (and even introduced us to their lovely dogs). They offered information and dinner recommendations and were extremely pleasant to talk to. The room was clean, tidy and had homely décor. Amenities included a fridge with milk, tea and coffee, a heated double bed, a TV, hairdryer, heat pump/AC, and a heated shower. The room was well insulated and warm with a bed that was extremely comfortable. The included breakfast was quite generous, filling and Kay was able to cater to our diet. Overall it was an exceptional stay.

Featuring free WiFi, The Barn at Killin B&B is located in Lake Ohau in the Mackenzie country of the North Otago region, 30km from Twizel. A continental or full English breakfast is included in the rate. The house and decor are absolutely stunning and the breathtaking landscape is visible from every window. Our hosts, Hugh and Dwayne, went above and beyond to make us comfortable, happy and well-fed. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom immaculate.
