David was a great host; responsive and full of helpful information about Queenstown. The room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. The breakfast was first-rate (orange juice, choice of cereal, a pot of coffee and/or tea, toast all brought to us by David to our room). The location was perfect.

Catlins Retreat B & B is situated in Owaka. Featuring garden and quiet street views, this guest house also includes free WiFi. Location was excellent. The room was very spacious, with a very comfy bed. Jill, the host, was very welcoming and offered some great tips for lical activities.

It was wonderful having a LR to relax in and then go upstairs to bed. Dawn was amazing and made us muffins, pancakes and a yummy fruit mixture to top our pancakes. It is a very homey place and yard has all kinds of beautiful flowers.

We loved the character of this older establishment. So roomy and comfortable. The location was terrific for downtown dining.

The studio was immaculate and beautifully presented, with gorgeous stained glass windows. Sitting outside and admiring the garden was a particular highlight. We loved staying there.

The Vicarage Boutique Bed and Breakfast Oamaru is situated in Oamaru. The property has sea and garden views, and is 37 km from Moeraki Boulders. This is a beautiful old home. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was great, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, warm croissants, and entertaining stories from the owner. 15 minute walk from the sights, restaurants.
