Supermooie styling, erg netjes, knus en gebruik van heerlijke handdoeken en beddengoed. Het bed is ook van goede kwaliteit. Is met heel veel zorg gerenoveerd. De beste overnachting van onze vakantie. Een echte aanrader voor 1 of een paar nachten. Parkeren een heel klein stukje verder (gratis). Maffioso restaurant heel goedkoop, lekker en dichtbij.

Quinta do Fojo Valonguinho, Barrô bevindt zich in Barrô, op 16 km van Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de tuin. Everything was prepared when we arrived up the step road. We had a small car so for us everything was ok but if you have a massive sedan or suv you might not fit through the gate or be able to park easily as this is located on the hillside. But my god how beautiful location this is. The pictures really does show the beauty of this location. Our hostess fixed a lovely dinner with cheese and chauteriy board as couvert and pork potatoes and tomato sallad for main with a lovely red wine to go with it. Breakfast was also lovely with her own made jams and fruits picked from her own garden. All in all a perfect stay. Would recommend this quiet small place to anyone who wants tranquility and a warm welcome from the hostess.

Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro is gelegen op 15 minuten lopen van Museu do Douro en biedt een gedeelde lounge. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. Wonderful guest house with all of the amenities you could ask for. Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

Zimão Garden House is gelegen op 31 km van golfbaan Vidago Palace en 43 km van Museu do Douro, en is voorzien van kamers in Vila Real. Vriendelijk onthaal. Parkeerruimte voor het huis, maar het is wel opletten met de smalle straten (er is wel openbare parkerruimte op 50 m). Wifi OK. Voor ontbijt enkel drank voorzien (in het dorpje zelf zijn geen winkeltjes). Idyllissche ligging en dito verblijf.

Stay at the Winemaker ligt in Ervedosa do Douro, op 32 km van Museu do Douro, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de rivier. - Amazing view - excellent breakfast - super comfortable beds - Amazing outside area and surrounding nature The absolute best is the amazing host Martin. Casa do Arco by Douro Exclusive ligt in São Cristóvão do Douro met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde lounge, bar, tuin, seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad en terras. Very professional and friendly staff with an eye on every detail. The boutique accomodation is beautifully decorated and designed with a very cozy atmosphere. The view is absolutely breathtaking in every one of the rooms and the location of the peoperty being high up on the hill with massive ceiling to floor windows makes you want to capture the moment all day from when the fog rolls in during the mornings in February at sunrise to sunset over a glass of wine. We had a very comfortable and enjoying stay.

My husband and I picked the Golden Mirror for the Douro portion of our honeymoon and we were so glad that we did! The rooms are spacious, clean and new and the view from our room was absolutely breath taking! The hosts of the hotel are so SO nice and helped us with parking every time we came back. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minute drive from Regua and about 10 minute drive to Lamego - both had good options for dining. We did two wine tastings just down the road at Quinta da Pacheco and Quinta de Tourais - both were incredible and just a couple minutes from the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a 10/10! We hope to be back some day.

Portovella Lodges & Bungalows ligt in Pala, op 42 km van Museu do Douro en 43 km van Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en toegang tot een tuin met een... Everything!!! our apartment was stunning! we had two separate bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room. the rooms were spotlessly clean! the pool is gorgeous and the views breathtaking. the breakfast is everything the other reviews said and more! one of our children is coeliac and they provided an excellent range of products that varied each morning… this was so important to us! we didn’t bring a car and we were able to arrange a taxi to the nearest supermarket for €35 return! This is a great option if you wish to get the train to Pala station which is only 5min walk from the property (but steep and stepped so not great for anyone with accessibility issues) and was wayyyy cheaper than €1400 we were quoted for a car for the week! The train runs from Porto.
