We were not aware that Casa das Obras was a 250 year old manor house. It has been sympathetically renovated with beautiful rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. It has impressive reception areas, and multiple cosy rooms for relaxing. It was centrally heated and spotlessly clean. A magnificent buffet breakfast was included. For warmer weather it has a lovely garden with a swimming pool. The host was on site to greet us, and available throughout our stay for anything we required. We would not hesitate to stay again.

The kitchen was well provided with pots etc and there was a great patio. The hostess was extremely helpful.

Nice balcony. Exelent and generous breakfast. Hot beverages and cakes complimentary aroud the clock. Central location.
