Offering mountain views, A Tendinha - Guest House is an accommodation located in Peso da Régua, 1.1 km from Douro Museum and 14 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Featuring mountain views, Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro features accommodation with patio, around 1.3 km from Douro Museum. The room and the entire place is very comfortable and modern. It felt like home and we definitely will come back again soon. Special thanks to Joana and Marco for a welcome drink - delicious port wine. Thank you for making our trip so special!

Zimão Garden House is located in Vila Real, 30 km from Natur Waterpark, 31 km from Golf Course Vidago Palace, and 43 km from Douro Museum. Not enough words to describe this wonderful place. It was so good so after we left , we decided to go back and stay longer. Perfect by all means.

Offering a garden and river view, Stay at the Winemaker is located in Ervedosa do Douro, 32 km from Douro Museum and 33 km from Natur Waterpark. This is a beautiful place with a wonderful owner. Imagine living right in the winery! With breathtaking views of the vineyards and the Douro River. Martin is a wonderful host, very friendly. He taught us how to play a new board game, it was a lot of fun! We had dinner together and in the morning we had a lovely breakfast with an abundant selection of different local products. Martin also gave us a tour of the vineyard and winery and we tasted the wine he makes himself (delicious!). It was an unforgettable experience, thank you!

Casa do Arco by Douro Exclusive in São Cristóvão do Douro provides adults-only accommodation with a bar and a shared lounge. The property has an amazing view on the valley and river. Everything is so well thought of to welcome you in a peaceful environment for a relaxing stay!

Set in Mirandela in the Norte Region region and Chaves Thermal Spa reachable within 50 km, Ribeira House offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, water sports facilities and free... The staff (reception, housekeeping, and the cook) all received us with warm hospitality. The breakfast (home made pastries, regional charcuterie, made to order eggs)were delicious. The gated parking area was secure and easy to access.

Situated in Provesende and only 12 km from Natur Waterpark, Quinta Pedreira dos Anjos features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

Casa dos Codessos has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Ribeira de Pena, 34 km from Carvalhelhos Thermal Spa. The owner was fantastic,super kind and nice.The breakfast was tasty and with a lot of variety. The place is beautiful,very recomendable for anyone who will visit Pena Aventura or the area nearby.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Douro D'Heart - Regua Guesthouse - Casa Completa is located in Peso da Régua. Our host left some fresh baked breads for us in the morning which we found to be very convenient. The kitchen was dated, but complete with everything you might need. The bathrooms were modern in comparison to the rest of the house. We felt as if transported into the days of Downton Abby with all the antique furniture, and the space was enormous. The bedrooms were all large with four poster beds. Altogether a nice experience.

Boasting mountain views, O Casario features accommodation with pool with a view, a garden and a shared lounge, around 42 km from Chaves Thermal Spa. The location and interior decor of this establishment are absolutely stunning. The staff here is exceptionally friendly and efficient, the rooms are not only clean but also quite spacious, and the quality of the bed linens and towels is impressive. Additionally, the breakfast served is both delicious and generously portioned.
