We had the pleasure of experiencing one of the most intense cyclones of the recent years together with Isa and Steph in their beautiful house in Le Tampon. As we have never been exposed to such severe weather conditions before, we were a bit nervous ahead of our stay, but our hosts did everything they could to make us feel safe and comfortable in their amazing home. We cooked together, we did yoga, had great conversation and we believe we could not have found a better place to spend those hours during the storm than with them. Thanks for opening both your home and hearts for us. We enjoyed every minute.

Very nice room, with large private bathroom and small veranda with seating and a view of the beautifully landscaped garden. A very nice Gîtes, with extremely nice and accommodating owners. Aniel gave us a friendly welcome and showed us everything, we also had a very nice breakfast with baguette, croissant and a variety of homemade jams from the garden, very lovely. We were passing through and unfortunately only stayed one night, next time we will stay longer, we felt very comfortable! And we will improve our French until next time, I promise! :)

La Résidence des Caféiers - Le Tampon býður upp á gistingu í Le Tampon með ókeypis WiFi, fjallaútsýni, garði og sameiginlegri setustofu. The breakfast was super nice. The hospitality and welcoming atmosphere given through Marie-Claude and Yves was extraordinry. Also we recommend to have at least one diner with them. Next time at La reunion we will stay at this place again

Chambre d'hôte Les Quatres Saisons er staðsett í La Plaine des Cafres og býður upp á gistirými með loftkælingu og verönd. the owner was very friendly and welcoming the main area has great views to Piton Du Furnace and the entire valley around the room has a twin bed and a double deck bed for kids, the bathroom is functional there is a jacuzzi outside for public use

Zoiseaux Paradis er staðsett í Ravine des Cabris, 5,3 km frá Saga du Rhum og státar af útsýnislaug, garði og fjallaútsýni. the beautiful garden, the pool and the large room

Côté Volcan er gististaður með garði í La Plaine des Cafres, 24 km frá tindinum Peak of the Furnace, 25 km frá Saga du Rhum og 31 km frá útsýnisstaðnum Trou de Fer. Extremely nice staff (very helpful and knowledgeable about hiking routes) and very cosy dinner in the evenings with great local food. Spacious room with couch area and heating (important since it gets cold in the mountains). No wifi in the room, which should be standard these days.
