I didn't realise when I booked that the accommodation was brand new and had only recently opened. The room we had was fantastic, very clean, modern and thoughtfully decorated.

Situated in an amazing landscape we enjoyed great views in the early morning before the clouds began to rise. Heated pool outside and a great open air kitchen with a coffee machine ready to use. Apartment was spacious and really well equipped.

Very friendly hosts and a great homecooked meal with local ingredients, this was the perfect warm place to stay after a few days hiking.

This accommodation is a very good starting point for discovering the Mafate area. The owner is a very nice lady. Not far from the accommodation is very nice local restaurant with nice food. It was bad for us that the lady doesn't speak English and we don't speak French :-(. Nevertheless, we agreed on everything that was needed. Breakfast is rich and varied, but you have to be able to choose ;-) - we initially did not understand the system. You are choosing 1 piece of cheese, for example, not 1 portion :-). The rooms are quite large, but for three people with backpacks it is so so. We were lucky that no one was accommodated in the other rooms, and we could use the common areas with the kitchen.

Sebastian is the friendliest host! There is nothing he won’t do and he makes the best food. We stayed 3 nights and we felt right at home here

Clean and spacious room with exceptional mountain vibes. Host was very nice and also recommended a few things to do and visit in the neighborhood. Very good wifi connection. Until now, its the best accommodation I have had during my stay in La Reunion.

Ti Kaz Lontan er staðsett í Salazie, 7,4 km frá Cirque de Mafate og 18 km frá Cirque de Salazie og býður upp á bar og garðútsýni. The gîte was very nice. We had towels, blankets and even soap for the shower. The breakfast was good and we had good company during our stay. We can recommend this gîte for a hiking trip.
