Providing city views and a garden, CITADEL ROOMS provides accommodation in a prime location in Cluj-Napoca, within a short distance of Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, Banffy Palace and Cluj... Very friendly and welcoming host who met us on arrival and made sure everything was perfect. He even gave us a free coffee in the morning which was lovely - one of the nicest hosts I've had at a Booking.com stay. It felt safe as there is a locked gate and it's so close to the city, only just across the river (which we liked because it was quieter). Good soundproofing and good WiFi. Will stay there again next time I'm in Cluj!

Lovely place in green scenery. The room was beautifully furnished, very clean and with comfortable bed and balcony with view.There was also free water in the room. The common space was also lovely furnished and there was coffe/tea/water and some cookies available at all times. Outside there was a nice jacuzzi with warm water (could be even called mini swimming pool). Breafast was simple but very tasty (the best we had during our stay in Romania), especially zakusca and eggplant paste! The staff was friendly and very helpfull (I lost some documents and wrote to the hotel to check in the room, they replayed there was nothing there but offered themselves to do another deeper check in the hotel space. Very appreciated!). I would come back for longer as it is a great place to rest.

I had tripped at the airport, and the gentleman who let me in (I arrived late) gave me all the first aid I required. I was only there one night, but I would go back. Only one thing, I was woken by the dawn chorus at 5.30!!!! But that's because I like to sleep with the window open. I sat on the balcony and read, and although it had rained overnight the balcony, and seats, were dry.

Nice, clean, comfortable room. Well equipped common kitchen with dining tables. Parking in the yard. Pleasantly surprised by the closeness of the secondary entrance into the Turda Salt Mines.
