The property is not very close to the center of town but it is close enough to walk to the pier if you take a Danube Delta Tour as I did. It is also just behind and below the Monument which isn't far to walk either. Wifi was fantastic, parking was great, bed was comfortable and everything was spotless. I highly recommend this property!!

Casa Adelmar is a recently renovated guest house in Tulcea, where guests can makes the most of its saltwater pool, free bikes and garden. The property has garden and city views. Spacious room and very comfortable. Walking distance to all the attractions like train station, monuments, stores, museums, and ports for Danube Delta tours. We booked a single room and a room with balcony - both have private bath and are wonderful. There's a shared kitchen with a dining area. Internet is fast in the common area for any last minute travel planning; we didn't get good signal in room. Property is extremely clean; you can tell the owner took pride in running the lodge. We got two blankets for two people without needing to ask! There's even water and a little bowl of candy waiting for you on arrival. We met the owner and his family - very friendly people and gave us great tips about transportation since we had to catch an early train next day.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Sfântu Gheorghe, Casa Carter is a guest house surrounded by views of the inner courtyard. Boasting barbecue facilities, Casa Trandafirilor is set in Tulcea. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The host is friendly and helpful. She always made sure that everything is all right. We asked her to prepare dinner for us (upon extra payment) and she made 3 course meal, which was great. The room we had only had roof windows and therefore was not possible to let some fresh air in as they were too high to reach. Also there was no kitchen in the property where we could prepare our breakfast. There was a space outside under the pergola where we had tea, coffee and places to sit. It is a friendly and welcoming place and it is a walking distance from the Danube river.

It is a really special and unique place - like a fairy tale setting! The hosts, Carmen and Eddy, are very friendly and the most lovely people. We did a wonderful boat and jeep trip with them in the area of the Danube delta. The place deserves a 20 star rating!!
