The staff was amazing, very hospitable and took care of everything. Breakfast and dinner was great, they have a really great chef and attentive personnel. They also rented us bikes for free, such that we could drive to the dive shop (~10 minutes by bike). Great and inexpensive stay!

Everything was very fine - even if the accommodation is not yet perfect and still missing some finalization. But I was very happy at your place and I can recommend Maweni absolutly especially for guests just coming by ferry boat as you could reach Maweni in a couple of minutes by food, as well very close to the Mafia airport. All the nice food and the taking care of everything I really appreciated. I was very amazed about the taking care of the beach and the garden every day, the view and the nice and open location. With sea views, Mafia Beach Bungalows sea view is located in Utende and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. The food was delicious. The staff were very accommodating, and the location is close to all of the major activities i.e. snorkeling, sailing, tours, scuba, … I also really like that Mafia BB is the only locally owned accommodation with all local staff. All of the other locations I visited in Utende are owned by foreigners with a slightly uncomfortable dynamic with local staff.

Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Pool was great and plenty of lounge chairs with sun and shade. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast made to order and plentiful. Dinners also tasty.
