Situated in New Orleans and with Union Station reachable within 3.4 km, Serenity in the Marigny features express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a shared lounge. I loved everything about it, location, friendliness of staff, breakfasts, being responsive to our needs, eg helping us with problems using the code system to unlock the main entrance, the hot tub and on and on. Will definitely stay there on future trips to NO.

Located on the grounds of the Greenwood Plantation, Greenwood Plantation B&B Inn provides accommodation in St. Francisville. All units feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. We stayed in one of the units on the top floor that had views both out the front and the back of the property, overlooking the lake to the plantation house. It made for a very spectacular stay, where we could sit on rocking chairs on the veranda, light the citronella candles provided and enjoy the tranquility (until the frogs started their chorus in the evening !!!!). Excellent size of rooms, very clean, and good breakfast in the morning. Snacks and water available anytime in the morning and fridge, freezer and bags of ice readily available. A very pleasant stay, which included a guided tour of the plantation house. Although rebuilt since a fire in the 1960’s it is still spectacular and the tour was incredibly interesting.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Mandeville, de la Bleau B&B is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the lake. Beautiful property and wonderful room with a view of the lake. Very clean, comfortable and stylish. Nice finishing touches.

Boasting garden views, Abita Springs Hotel offers accommodation with terrace, around 49 km from University Center. With city views, this accommodation provides a balcony. It was a wonderful time at Abita Springs Hotel. Everything very clean, perfect equipments and little things all around the apartment (like chocolate at the bed or make up remover in the bathroom). We enjoyed our stay and sitting on the porch or in the beautiful garden. Also we took the two free bicycles from the Hotel and discovered Abita Springs. Restaurants and a great local supermarket is situated closely at the Hotel. We will come back again. Thanks for everything.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Terrell House Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge, around 1.8 km from Union Station. We loved the attention to detail in the interior design! The proprietress and the other staff were extremely friendly, that really made us feel at home. Amazing breakfast, cooked fresh each morning and served at a big communal table, you get a chance to meet other guests, which was lovely!

WG Creole House 1850 is located in the Central City district of New Orleans, 800 metres from Union Station, 1.3 km from Morial Convention Center and 1.7 km from Mercedes-Benz Superdome. I didn't have breakfast as I don't think breakfast was included. I did make myself a couple cups of tea in the kitchen/dining area. I think you could have used some of your own food in that facility. This is a wonderful place to stay. Most highly recommended. I would definitely try to book it if I were to visit New Orleans again. It is walkable from the train station although Google Maps does not provide the best route for getting there.

Offering a patio and jet spa, The Blue60 Marigny Inn is situated in New Orleans, 1.3 km from St Louis Cathedral. Every room has a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Absolutely magnificent place. Loved everything about it. Lots of space, Bed was great shower excellent and the most comprehenive personlised suggestions/guide folder ever..IFully aircoditioned. If like us you don't know New Orleans but want to be close to the music (its frenchman street) this is where to stay. Close to everything.. Highly recommend.

Rose Manor is a charming lakefront property located in New Orleans. Free WiFi access is available throughout the bed and breakfast. Large and comfortable room. Simple but enjoyable breakfast spread with an espresso machine for coffee. Lovely staff, very helpful with advice on places to visit in the area. Very quiet location.

Located a short 10 minutes' drive from Eldorado Shreveport Resort and Casino, this charming bed and breakfast features a spa bath in each room and free Wi-Fi access. Host is super nice. The breakfast is the best I have ever had
