To say that the host is helpful is not enough. She's managed everything for us, from pickup, through dining and cave excursions to cruise booking. If something was not available, she would just hop on the bike and get it. Friendly, family atmosphere.

Super mooie ruime kamer langs de rivier. Erg mooi uitzicht vanaf de kamer ook. Het personeel is super aardig en wilt je met alles helpen. Gratis fietsen zijn fijn om te gebruiken maar wel aan de versleten kant. Leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. Ontbijt is prima. Fijn dat we opgehaald werden 's avonds vanaf de bushalte.

Little Rock Homestay is gelegen in Phong Nha met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, bar, tuin en terras. De accommodatie heeft een bubbelbad. It is located in a very quiet part of the town, right by the river with a beautiful view overlooking the mountains and the river. Tge location is the key here as you don’t here any noice from the road, can enjoy the view, the peace and quiet of the area. The room is quite basic but it has everything you need, even a hairdryer and a kettle. The shower has hot water and the Aircon works well. I liked the mattress and the pillows were not too hard. The owner of the Homestay Xuan was very helpful. She can recommend some interesting new tours to the caves which are different from Oxalis. By the way, her husband works in Oxalis, so if you have any questions, he can help you.

Our room was big, comfortable, everything worked and whilst possibly considered more 'basic' was perfect for myself and my daughter. Hot water shower, super clean bedroom and bathroom, good lighting, useful TV with decent channels for the evenings, air con AMAZING and a very good fan also. Lots of towels. I LOVE the VN mattresses, super firm and a great nights sleep. The pillows were OK but we are very fussy about pillows. Wif worked well. Also worth mentioning is that this homestay is very very well designed. There are no external windws in the rooms and the rooms come off a dark cool corridor (also with no windows) - at our visit Dong Hoi waa ridicualously hot and humid; going back to the homestay was excellent and cool, the room wasnt too hot at all :-) Highly recommedn this place, we stayed for longer and will certainly have good memeories form here and return if we come back to Dong Hoi for a third time. Very clean, warm welcome and good location. A lot of space in the room and the smart tv works properly. There is a communal space with a pool table and a small gym.

Lots of restaurants and bars around. The room was very clean, and it was away from the street. This makes it quieter. Big bed with good mattress. Water pressure was also ok. The included breakfast was the best I had in a long time. Why? Because they went the extra mile and put some tomato and cucumber on the plate as well. The lady that runs the house speaks very good English. She can help you with trips or tickets as well.
