We were able to check in at 4 am for a small fee of 150k dong after our overnight bus arrived, which was amazing! Sy picked us up for no charge and took us back to the homestay. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is free breakfast in the morning with choice of water or other beverage (small if you are a big breakfast person, but it was perfect for me since I don’t have much of an appetite in the morning). I got acupuncture and a massage and it was great! I recommend requesting either Sy or his wife do the massage because they are the most experienced. You get 20% off of massage services if you stay at the homestay. We were able to rent a motorbike for 1/2 day since it was raining for a fee of 75k dong plus the cost of gas. You can also pay with card for everything at the end of your stay (with a 3% fee) this was helpful for us to conserve our cash and get some credit card points. He helped us book a bus to Hue and even drove us to meet the bus on the main road. He was very helpful, and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Phong Nha.

Beautiful stay in Phong Nha when we came to visit the national park and caves. The room was clean and comfortable and all the family were so sweet. The weather was very wet before we arrived so the hosts informed us only one cave would be open but they organised our tour and transport to Hue the next day. Breakfast was really tasty and they also did our laundry so fast within 10 hours and it smelt amazing!

Had booked for a night but ended up extending 2 more nights. The host is friendly. They also let us use bicycles for free which was great to get to the other side of town. We booked our Ruc Mon cave tour with the host's sister and it was good value for money. They also helped us arrange a bike during our stay and cab on our last day. The host came to pick us up from the bus station in the night and didn't charge for it. Definitely recommend this place.

Clean, spacious room and the location was great. The swimming pool was a bonus in the hot, humid weather. Cuba, the hotel manager, was fantastic - he was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. He helped us book a tour and our bus tickets too. Thank you, Cuba! Highly recommend Tien’s Cozy Homestay!

It is located in a very quiet part of the town, right by the river with a beautiful view overlooking the mountains and the river. Tge location is the key here as you don’t here any noice from the road, can enjoy the view, the peace and quiet of the area. The room is quite basic but it has everything you need, even a hairdryer and a kettle. The shower has hot water and the Aircon works well. I liked the mattress and the pillows were not too hard. The owner of the Homestay Xuan was very helpful. She can recommend some interesting new tours to the caves which are different from Oxalis. By the way, her husband works in Oxalis, so if you have any questions, he can help you.

Situado em Dong Hoi, na região de Quang Binh, o 117 Bà Triệu Homestay fica a 2,4 km da Praia de Nhat Le. Lovely family run Homestay with very humble owners. Our room was big, comfortable, everything worked and whilst possibly considered more 'basic' was perfect for myself and my daughter. Hot water shower, super clean bedroom and bathroom, good lighting, useful TV with decent channels for the evenings, air con AMAZING and a very good fan also. Lots of towels. I LOVE the VN mattresses, super firm and a great nights sleep. The pillows were OK but we are very fussy about pillows. Wif worked well. Also worth mentioning is that this homestay is very very well designed. There are no external windws in the rooms and the rooms come off a dark cool corridor (also with no windows) - at our visit Dong Hoi waa ridicualously hot and humid; going back to the homestay was excellent and cool, the room wasnt too hot at all :-) Highly recommedn this place, we stayed for longer and will certainly have good memeories form here and return if we come back to Dong Hoi for a third time. Great place at the beginning of the main strip. Lots of restaurants and bars around. The room was very clean, and it was away from the street. This makes it quieter. Big bed with good mattress. Water pressure was also ok. The included breakfast was the best I had in a long time. Why? Because they went the extra mile and put some tomato and cucumber on the plate as well. The lady that runs the house speaks very good English. She can help you with trips or tickets as well.
