Accommodation had been great. Nice view into the marina, surprisingly warm during winter with a soft relaxing swing. Staff had been exceptional, offering an excellent service. The district Ringön provides an exciting atmosphere of an industrial port yet with good restaurants/bars nearby.

Before we arrived, we got message from the hotel that we would be able to leave our bags and maybe to get an early check in if our room is available. That made us feel so welcome, it was such a considerate guesture from the hotel staff. Location is perfect, just in the center, easily accessible to various parts of the beautiful city on foot, by tram, by bus or by boat No. 285. Not to mention less than 5 minutes walk to Nordstan and 7 minutes walk to the central bus station with its direct line to Landvetter airport. Our room was immaculate, clean, with unlimited nescafe, tea, milk and sugar at all times. Beds are comfy, and everything in the hotel is amazing, there are many armchairs and coffee tables on the upper, as well as on the lower deck, where you can sip coffee and enjoy their huge heart shaped gluten-free cookies 24/7 for free. We felt cosy and relaxed all the time. Breakfast is 15/10 with plenty of vegan options, fish, salads, cereals, dry fruits, eggs, sausages, hot waffles, nutella, fruits, juices, to name just a few. We will definitely come back in the summer! The best possible value for money. Thank you, Hotel Barken Viking! ❤

I loved the boat. It is a unique experience and you really feel connected to the ocean. It is a small cozy cabin and everything you need. I used it also as a working place on my laptop and it worked perfectly for me. I will for sure come back in summer, when it is warmer. For me the temperatures were fine but if you are very sensitive and not used to the outdoors, it might be a bit cold in Spring/Winter. The one was also super friendly and helpful! The separate showers and toilets were ultra clean and I had overall a fantastic experience.
