Staying here was the best part of our 3 week trip. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable and it was lovely to have fresh flowers in the bedroom. We loved relaxing on the loungers and other seats in the open area and viewing all the boats, wildlife and locals in the backwaters. We enjoyed mooring up overnight in a quiet location. The driver and chef were friendly and helpful - we couldn’t have had a better time.

Located in Alleppey, Why Not Houseboat offers accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the boat for the convenience of those who stay. The food was amazing! We were unable to finish it all though!! Gorgeous scenery The sound of the birds at dusk and dawn was really special Where we moored overnight you could not hear any beeping horns. A first for our Indian trip! The boat was lovely and very well maintained. We travelled along serenely with hardly any engine noise

Located in Alleppey, 6.6 km from Alappuzha Railway Station and 18 km from Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple, IndraprasthamLakeCruise offers a terrace and air conditioning. It was as per our expectation - worth the money and clean. The helpers were all sweet and flexible. The rooms were good and cozy. A good option for a group of 5-6 people. Very comfortable for my family.

The chef is incredible - best food i have had in the whole India trip. Varied and delicious. Aircon in bedrooms and of an evening in the downstairs lounge, plus aircon in the dining room. Slept like a log. Wonderful relaxing backwater cruise. Highly recommend Grand Villa Houseboat.
