The wooden tents in the jungle were great. In the evening we could see lots of wildlife like frogs, turtles and snakes - in the morning you'd wake up by the sound of the jungle. We saw a lovely selection of birds and enjoyed hanging out in the hammocks and hanging chairs. We had space to cook in our apartment and there was lots of to entertain us like ping pong tables and pool table. I found the lodge in the middle of the rainforest exceptional and it was a very nice experience. The little house for me alone (3 beds) was very spacious with a great balcony with a hammock. It was really spacious, great AC, nice veranda, beautifully embedded in lush green! The bed and pillows very comfortable. Hot shower. The room was perfectly cleaned and we got new towels and soap every day. Staff was very friendly and helpful with everything, even got help with ordering food and delivery from town. All rooms have a lovely veranda with a sitting area and hammock facing the volcano, so even when it rained, we spent alot of time sitting theire enjoying the amazing well kept garden. The kids enjoyed the game area , pool. And the landlady gave a baby eguana to my daughter to hold, she was thrilled! We didn't have a car, but there were a few sodas right next door for lunch and dinner. Jose in reception was great and helped with getting me the cheapest onward shuttle. very kind man! walking distance to town (5mins) and any activities can be arranged by the hotel.
