The room was cozy and well appointed, the large bathtub was wonderful for relaxing after a long day of hiking, and the property it sits on is wonderful with many beautiful trees and a nice path down to the beach. I'm pretty sure we saw an otter too but it was hard to tell for sure. Wish I had brought binoculars!

We stayed for a long weekend in May and couldn't recommend it more- the views onto the sea are stunning with amazing sunsets. We were lucky with the weather and were able to spend a lot of time on the terracce. The cabin is very cosy and beautifully decorated and has everything you need and many thoughtful derails.

Other cabins and houses close by however the cabin remains private. With parking available beside cabin. Fully equipped kitchen with hob and microwave for cooking. Dinning table with chairs. Extremely comfortable bed with view out the doors. Lovely setting outside BBQ facilities available with decking and chairs available amazing watching the sunset at night and if you are lucky to have clear sky you get a great view of the stars at night.

The cottage is clean, comfortable and excellently equipped, and staying here includes free access for multiple visits to the castle and its gardens. The estate management team were very helpful with ideas for our stay on Skye. Each evening we took a short walk to the promontory and saw seals bobbing in the bay at sunset. We also booked the boat trip to see more seals around the loch.

View from the cabin was beautiful, a short walk down to the lake (we saw seals!) and sunset behind the mountains just to the left of us. Peaceful. The landlord was really helpful and friendly.

Lots of opportunities to spot local wildlife and the sheep from the neighbouring farm often stop by the gate for a visit. The owner was very helpful and welcoming and told us exactly how and when he could be reached if needed. Lots of useful things provided, such as a washer/dryer and tabs. It was very remote, so pack the food you need before getting to the isle of skye. The fresh scones and beer left for us was a treat. The hosts were friendly and said we could knock and ask them anything. They offered us local info of where to go site seeing and where to eat.

We were thankful for the provided basic supplies, like milk, coffee, orange juice. The cabins are superbly equipped, lovely and very clean. Harlosh is the perfect spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, with quiet, fresh air and stunning views on the bay and its wildlife (seals, birds, etc.). Great starting point to explore the Isle of Skye.
