Mosquito net was there but quite difficult to get full coverage around. Shower had hot water and was generally quite pleasant. Location was a bit hard to reach by boda because of the road quality, but if you can take a matatu, it's quite affordable. Some nice places to eat just on the main street about a 10-15 min walk from the hostel. Staff were quite helpful and let me store my bags there after I checked out and would answer my questions.

For the amount paid, I think it's excellent value for money and the rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable and fitted with a large mosquito net which was very useful. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from the lake. I managed to go for a jog in the morning which allowed me to see how nice the surrounding area is.
