Everything. It's isolated which is so nice, it felt like we were alone in the forest. We had everything we needed for cooking (other than food, which we brought) and cleaning up and keeping warm. Even though it was somewhat cloudy, we saw so many stars at night and it was amazing. Be careful to bring your trash inside because we heard a bunch of bumping around and night and when we shined the flashlight, there was a possum rummaging around in the kitchen! Thankfully we didn't have anything left outside, so it wasn't a big deal. Overall this was such a great experience, maybe my favorite in our south island trip.

Basic but spacious, two minutes' walk from town and with an awesome view of the lake from the veranda. We requested ground floor and got it. Lovely fruit trees and hydrangeas outside.

It’s on this cute farm with the mountains in the distance. Great to watch the sunset. The hut itself was very rustic and cosy, with a small kitchen and equipped bathroom. The grounds on the farm also had outdoor seating, swings and a trampoline! The welcoming from the dog was an added bonus.

The area is serene and quiet, and the scenery is stunning. The property is close to town, and the National Transport and Toy Museum is just a couple of minutes drive away. The bungalow is large, comfortable and well-equipped – with new and modern interiors – the perfect place to relax.
