Very nice location, the rooms are directly on the water, when you step out of your room the sea is 2m away. You can even lie on your bed and with curtains open look out to enjoy the view. The room has a double bed but there is no chair or table so you also have to sit on the bed. there are sun beds on the front and back side of the peninsula surounded by mangrove forest that is decorated with plastic fish sculptures. Breakfast is great and there is a nice view over the mangrove forest while eating. The workers are generally friendly.

Nicest people, delicious cocktails & food, a very relaxed environment. Outdoor shower epic view (we stayed on top floor). Felt very safe and no one was haranguing you, except to ask you what you want to eat or drink :) Definite highlight was going Nena Beach Club at Playa Blanca at about 4pm for sunset, which was gorgeous.

We loved the apartment, everything was clean, comfortable, me and my wife spent time in the hammocks on the terrace, it is close to the beach, friendly people

Perfect location!! This hostel is a really nice spot to connect with other travelers. The staff is super helpfull and friendly and very active and enthousiastic. They offer a free welcome drink, salsa class and game night and also celebrate special days like international women’s day. Although the pool is tiny, it’s nice to do siësta in there (or enjoy the stunning sunset with view over the city). There’s also a clean kitchen and plenty of space to relax. Dorms are small but clean and practical with good aircondition.

The location is really spectacular. The hotel is on its own little island - crystal clear water and very calm. Many hammocks all over the main common area.

We booked the suite with see view which was amazing and the best they have probably. Very much enjoyed lounging in our balcony and enjoying the sunsets from the private pool. Staff were friendly but spoke no English. There were a few very cute and kind stray dogs that stole our hearts and never bothered us. The pool area is very nice too, not too busy when we were there but at night it was very quiet, almost deserted.

this place looks beautiful, the room and shared bathroom were clean, there’s a mosquito net over the bed. there are several houses and in each 2-3 rooms. each house has a terrace with hammocks, it is very nice if you want to chill on your own or with someone. there is common area with the bar, pool, everyone is there during the evening. 2x a week there is a hostel party. there’s a restaurant within the hostel, with fair prices. you can walk to the opposite side of the island in 20-30mins, or to some of the beaches near.

The property is a 5-10 minute walk from the entrance to the walled city (centro) and has all the amenities you need. They have a lovely area to relax on all the floors (pool on the ground floor, hammocks on the first floor and rooftop to watch the sunset on the second floor). The staff are lovely and it’s great to stay in a traditional house.

The staff we’re amazing and the desert is like another world. Such a unique environment, different to anything I have ever seen. Crazy rock formations, beautiful starry nights and sunsets/sunrises. Would highly recommend.
