Excellent location close to all the major attractions of the region and a river to swim in within walking distance. The river water is amazing and not as cold as one would expect. Amador, Matias and Karlijn (volunteer) were excellent hosts who readily share all relevant information on the region and make great recommendations. Our room was clean and comfortable. Visiting the wine farm (Cavas del Valle), the brewery (Guayacán) and the pisco farm (ABA) is a must. Valle de Elqui is a magical place.

Max has put so much work into crafting the campsite and was so welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor shower was a delight. We loved the peace and used it as a place to relax in a busy holiday. We went for the stars and were delighted with the clear skies.

The rooms are spacious and are of a very nice design. The courtyard and common areas are so relaxing, and the restaurant is absolutely delicious!! The breakfasts in the morning are very generous and fresh too. Would highly recommend to stay here. We tried a couple of other restaurants in vicuna but by far this was the best! Great value for money.

I felt very comfortable and familiar in the Hostel. The rooms are huge and everything was very clean! I loved the patio and the little garden. The kitchen is pretty well equiped.

The breakfasts are all extremely good but I would recommend that you try the Lebanese breakfast, a complete meal in itself...we didn't need lunch or dinner afterwards! The cabin we had was very clean, comfortable and spacious. A bonus is that there is a laundry service available at a very reasonable price. The restaurants that Richard recommended were all excellent, but by a whisker the Italian was the best.

The tent area’s are very homely and cosy with blankets, rugs etc. Communal areas meant that we got to hang out with other guests and Max. Max was super welcoming and kind, worth staying just to meet and hang out with him

Located in a quiet part of vicuna, only 10 minute walk from the bus terminal and the centre of town.
