The owner, José, did everything in his power to make my stay as pleasant as possible. He really is a great host and very nice person. The place is very quiet and loaded with birds. So if the place is available, don't hesitate and just book. You won't regret it and its worth it! So many birds to see, enjoy and photograph. The view from the hills towards Irazu volcano, Turrialba volcano and Turrialba town are priceless. The room is very comfortable and everything you need is there. I didn't expect to have any internet. But i had it in the room and functioned very well.

Hacienda Monteclaro is an agricultural and ecological farm 10 minutes away from Turrialba downtown. Eco-decks are part of different projects and feature views of the Turrialba valley and its volcano.
