With garden views, Greenwood safari camp is set in Talek and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. This campground offers free private parking, full-day security and free WiFi. The accommodation features a shuttle service, while a car rental service is also available.

You can play darts at the campground. Greenwood safari camp features a children's playground and a picnic area.

Staying at Greenwood camp was a wonderful experience! The camp had a great safari vibe. The staff was very friendly and caring and the host was so helpful with organizing activities. Really recommend their safari - the drivers put much effort into showing us as much as possible in one day. There is also an option of buying meals made fresh at the camp which I highly recommend.

At the campground, all units include a desk. Units come complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, while certain units at the campground also provide guests with a seating area.

Sightseeing tours are available in the area. Barbecue facilities are included at the campground, and guests can also relax in the garden or go on a picnic in the picnic area.

For my needs and expectations, everything was fulfilled, even beyond the measure and initial expectations. The location of the campsite is great, right next to a river full of life (hippo, crocodile, lots of birds and Dik-Dik antelope right in the campsite, ...). The camp staff is just as wonderful as the food offerings. Comfort and equipment in the tent are more than enough for me. The possibility to charge the batteries and even the reach of the wifi signal, which is otherwise only available in the common areas of the camp. The campsite is very close to the Talek entrance gate, so it's really just a short off-road drive to the Masai Mara reserve. No more than 2-3 minutes. Drinking water is available all day and you can take it in your own bottles, even for a day-long game drive expedition. That is a very nice offer. Likewise, the attitude of Mustafa, the owner of the campsite, is very great! I definitely recommend this campsite and I definitely want to come back to it again in the future. However, what could definitely be improved is the stability of the power supply, which is apparently powered by an external generator and has been switching off/dropping quite often. And every morning it turned off very early, despite the fact that it was still dark or dim.

Amazing way to see Masai Mara. Owner Magdy was super attentive and helped organise our transport from Nairobi to the campsite within 30min notice, arranged a great safari (Thank you driver Alex) and drove us to Masai village. Food was very tasty and all staff at campsite super friendly and kind. Felt very safe and well looked after.

We like everything ! The staff is amazing and friendly. The hotel is just at the entrance of the national Park. The food is amazing (when you want to stay in the Park all day long, they prepare you a wonderful picnic) . Just in front of the park you can enjoy hypo and baboons.

Great place to stay! Very well maintained camp and eco friendly, I enjoy my stay at the camp. The staff were very welcoming and Magdy was always helpful and arranged a last minute game drive. The dinner and the packed breakfast/lunch was very good. The accommodation was very clean, hot shower and very quite at night. Nice place to stay to start your journey at Masai Mara.

The camp was very clean(the toilets too), the food was amazing, and the people working there were friendly and helpful. Magdy helped us with everything. He managed to find us partners for our game drives as we were on a budget. I think this is the best safari camp in the area. Value for money with perfect services and good people. I hope to come back again one day! Perfect stay next to the Mara.

Extremely exceptional stay in Maasai Mara which deliveries luxury experience with a reasonable cost. The campsite and cottages are well designed, maintained, and served. The property team did an exceptional job to continually surprise us and made our 3 days a great experience. It is really a rare find with 24hr power, plenty&hot water, hippo residents, warm staff, and affordable price in the Mara wilderness. Marcio from the sales team is really helpful and patient so as Stella and her local teammates.

The staff was very helpful, the scenery astonishing and the accommodation was comfortable. We loved to see the hippo's and crocodile in the river while we were dining and also the dancing Masai around the campfire made our stay memorable.

The moment I contacted the property, I was really impressed by clear information given by Magdy, the general manager there. He arranged everything from there on for the 2 days we were there. The place was homely and relaxed. Magdy went out of the way to help us with anything we needed. The stay, the rooms, staff, full day safari, picnics … everything was fabulous and fun… This is the first place that I liked every detail. I hope I visit again and also do yoga retreat there… Must stay… Just go there and Magdy will handle the rest :)
