Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.

The hotel was in a very convenient location-under 3 minutes’ walk from JR Nagasaki Station and right next to the AMU Plaza with many eateries and shops. There were tram stops across the road. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was neat, clean and functional. The bed was comfortable. Even though there was major road work going in the station precinct, the room was well insulated from the noise beneath and it did not affect the ease of getting to the JR Station.

This hotel is situated within 5 minutes walk of the Bomb museum and peace park and the tram stop into town. The room was much bigger than most Japanese hotels I've stayed in , jacuzzi style bath , in wash room , automatic toilet, lights controlled by tablet , best room on this trip easily. And comfortable bed. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I did not have breakfast so cannot rate it.

The location isn't in the center of Nagasaki, but it's conveniently placed close to a tram stop that runs around the town. The shrine close by adds a nice atmosphere and the housing is great if you want to try a traditional japanese style living! The owner is very friendly and definitely made our stay so much better. The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need.

Rather a capsule hotel than a hostel, with all the benefits this brings in terms of privacy. The separate space isn't even filled entirely by the bed so that there's even some space to keep the luggage. The cabins are made entirely of wood which makes for good, well breathable air. Towels and toothbrushes are provided abundantly. Common facilities are in excellent condition and thoroughly cleaned every day. Location is convenient as well.

Stayed in clean and neat Japanese tatami style room next to a small garden. Clean towels for use, this is great.
