The rooms were small but spacious enough. If you have bigger luggage there is space under the bed where you can put it. There's even a small wall mounted table in the room. The hostel is pretty new and everything was really clean. You can use washer and dryer for free. No kitchen but a microwave, toaster oven and kettle that you can use.

The location is right in Otaru town, easy to walk anywhere and a couple steps from a train. The breakfast and coffee is excellent, a perfect way to start your day. I had driven there from Hakodate so it was nice that they had parking right next to the hotel, and a convenience store right behind that. The room was very modern looking and the beds were comfortable, with a decently sized wall-mounted TV and drink vending machines on two floors.

The high ceiling was very nice after staying in capsule or bunk beds for weeks. I liked the vibe of the place so much that I asked to extend my stay an extra night. Also the coin laundry is the cheapest I've seen.

The breakfast was delicious; my kids enjoyed everything and I appreciated the variety of foods to try.
