Everything was as expected, nice and clean. We had a moment when a cleaning person just walked into the room when we were already there and she said thought the room was empty. Called the front desk to ask to be more careful and they claimed it was impossible...I mean we saw and talked to this person ha. Also, my spouse worked in the hotel industry we know how mistakes work but best thing is to own up to it, not claim that it's impossible... So that we didn't love. Everything else was ok.

We loved this place, it felt like an oasis with a pretty garden and a nice little pool. We had a room on the ground floor with our own patio space and it was lovely to sit there and enjoy the pool etc as it was really hot.
The staff were so helpful and booked a wine tour for us. Breakfast was good too. The views towards the mountains are also lovely.

We enjoyed the visit to Piatelli vineyard, a long way there. The place is beautiful, the visit excellent with their bilingual guide.
It is rather expensive in my opinion for what it is, and if stopping for a meal afterwards that was gorgeous, but very expensive.
CAFAYATE Town is lovely and very safe, plenty of restaurants, best empanadas at The Hornitas, recommended by a local person.

the only reason to go to Cafayate is the scenery and the wineries. Dining is either OK or very expensive at the high scale wineries. A visit to the goat farm was very interesting and the cheese tasting was delicious

Staying at the bodega hotel (In my case, el Porvenir) is highly recommended! Also, you can enjoy great lunch or dinner at lots of bodegas (El esteco, Piattelli, etc.) Please stay at least one night there and enjoy each bodega's unique wines. A one-day trip from Salta is too short. Don't miss this beauty!

Stunning town, we absolutely loved it here.
Stunning town, we absolutely loved it here. We walked everywhere, i highly recommend eating at the bodegas. Our favorite bodegas were Piatelli and Nanni, Esteco was nice too but a bit too pricey. The scenery is something I would come back for alone.
Piatelli had amazing food and so did bodega Nanni. El Ranco is good for dinner too and it’s on the main square.

Small but cute town with lots of restaurants and shops for tourists.
Many wineries are within the city and all is at walking distance. The further wineries are only 4 min drives from town.
Very clean and with plenty of options for all budgets. Ideal for wine and food lovers.
Location is perfect just half a block off the main square and walking distance to many of the wine tasting rooms. The hotel is beautiful and clean and the service was amazing. When I needed to get back to the bus station and there were no taxis available the hotel staff drove my stuff to the bus stop so I could make it on time!
Everything at this hotel was great! The rooms were clean, comfortable and very nicely appointed. The shared areas were beautiful and the staff was exceptionally kind. It is easy walking to everything in town and they have secured parking. They also accommodated a verrry early breakfast for us which was a very nice surprise.
Family run operation. Attentive and very kind staff. Beautiful property. Breakfast was great. Wish I had purchased the honey! Room enough for me to keep bike inside hotel room. Overall, wonderful stay. Would stay again :) *They had a great suggestion for a masseuse which came to the hotel!
Room - it had a huge bed and just generally was very roomy
Air conditioner was strong and worked well in the early summer heat
Location - just 1 block away from the Cafayate town square. Super convenient but also feels like a quiet safe haven at the end of a sweaty day.
Lovely staff, delicious dinner, good breakfast. Besides a great pool there was a pond with fish the kids loved feeding. 2 nights stay was perfect. Though it seems a hotel booked by a lot of couples we felt perfectly at home as a family
Cute place with very friendly owners/hosts. Simple, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Very good location just off the main square, easy to park right in front of the hotel. Good breakfast with excellent fresh local pastries.
The value/proposition was good. The hotel is clean, staff is pleasant, you are in a perfect location: right at the square of the city, breakfast is very fair.
Beautiful rooms and hotel in great location for exploring Cafayate. Lots of excellent restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk. Breakfast was delicious
This is a beautiful hotel with everything one could ask for… great views, exceptional service, outstanding restaurant and extremely well kept property.
