Great facility. Given easy to understand directions to our cabin. The cabin was VERY clean and had been aired out before we arrived. Even though the bed was only a double, it was very comfy and we both had a great nights sleep.

Great location - close to town. Fantastic set up with kitchenette and all equipment and utensils. Apple TV box is great as well. Spacious area. Thanks for a great stay. I'll be back for sure.

It was everything that i want during this time of hassles on work and the situation regarding pandemic, it feels like home, it made us feel like we are in another world, the place is solemn, the view outside is stunning, great weather, people are friendly and you won’t even be thinking about safety because the police station is right besides you 😁 it’s right on the budget, for those who want to have a great vacation I recommend Khancoban rose for you guys! 😁

Khancoban is the best kept secret in NSW!
Khancoban is the best kept secret in NSW! It is beautiful town in an idyllic location at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. Warm by day and cool at night. You can enjoy the mountain visas, go fishing, swimming, kayaking or boating on Khancoban Pondage. Enjoy drives, bushwalks or horseback riding in the mountains or just enjoy the clean air, fresh water and silence of mountain life!

We cooked dinner ourselves and we bought the ingredients from Canberra as there was no shop or mall nearby my stay, however, there was actually a small cafe selling breakfast at the service station.
There was a lake nearby, worth to go in the morning! I think there’re quite heaps of activities to do but we were rushing to Thredbo

Small township but friendly people (I was sitting on my own and a group of locals were at the coffee shop who invited me to join them rather than sitting on my own). You don't get that in the City.
Food and basic facilities available so you shouldn't want for anything.
But of course the area, views, and scenes are what it is all about and I guess is you are intending to go skiing it is not too far away. Wonderful walks if you are into that as well.

The hosts were very good, going out of their way with information and assisting us. Only negative for us was that we would have liked a top sheet, not just the doona. Oh and a few more tea bags, we both drink tea not coffee. Every thing else was great and we would stay again.
