Location was good, easy acess to amenities.We stayed 3 days and we had intended to swim in the pool. We had busy days exploring lovely Merimbular and had intended to go for a swim but found the pool closed early in pm and not open til late in am.Hense we never got to swim in pool.Brochure stated their were 2 pools and we had code.But no times were advertised on brochure re hours of use.

The staff were super helpful and very friendly. My partner and I were in town to pickup my car from the mechanics before heading to Western Australia. The mechanic was taking too long and kept promising us dates that the car would be ready by and never met those targets. The staff let us keep our belongings safe in our room even until late afternoons when eventually we would have to re book the room there was so stress and no dramas at all.
Top tier service.

What a wonderful dog friendly place . I have a greyhound. She loved it. Just wish it had a/c but fans sufficed. Stayed 3 night. Sharon is delightful. Upgraded me and Maggie. Definitely be back.

Even being April no whale time , the 2 hour cruise well worth while seals dolphins other beaches ect. complicated intersections but generally nice town. Been coming to Merimbula since I was very young. Was great to finally bring my young family! Absolutely love the food and beaches but mostly the people! Everyone is lovely and smiling. We stayed Mid February, just after the School Holidays ended, so the crowds would have been reduced. Still, there was a great "vibe" to the town, beaches, and surrounds. Merimbula was a great starting point to travel up & down the coast visiting other locales, such as Eden, Tathra, and the numerous beaches/parks/lakes along the Sapphire Coast.

Merimbula was suprisingly busy for a country town and traffic was at a standstill in the main downtown area at times. I don't know if this was normal for this time of the year (February). We did a number of day trips to surrounding areas such as Eden, Boydtown, Candelo and Tathra. We had hoped to visit Kameruka but it was closed to the public. Local seafood was good and the oysters, in particular, were delicious.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

The room was very clean and comfy. Parking was smooth and easy, right in front of the room. I especially enjoyed the large bathroom and the back veranda. The aircon was also good. Wifi didn't work so well. Merimbula is a great place for staying and relaxing. The beach boardwalk is beautiful. Nice shopping, restaurants, and cafes. We had a lovely breakfast at MorMors Cafe. A place/ region we'd like to see more of. Coming from Victoria, it was not as busy as what we thought. I enjoyed doing a lot of walks especially the boardwalk trail. Easy to find your way around town. The Oysters are really fresh. try their oyster factories. don't fall for the $8 per dozen advert though. apparently they are real small oysters. ((probably shouldn't even be harvested). the $20/dozen are a good size. Try the Wheelers ( Pambula) restaurant. decent food.

Pelicans everywhere waiting for the fish to come in. The apartments are spacious, very new and comfortable. The layout is great and the kitchen is well equiped. It is only some 10-15 minutes to walk over the bridge to the center of the city. Situated in a secondary street with walkers, bikes and a low speed allowed it is very relaxing. A very friendly lady in the office showed us around the apartment and made us feel at home.

We stayed in a two-bedroom coroner apartment with a wonderful view over the Lake and Merimbula Bridge. The apartment was large, well equipped and clean.
