Great town with many shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes.
Great town with many shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Saturday morning market was impressive. Coast line tram service runs up most of the Belgium coast (we had a day in Ostend). Sea front is clean tidy, beach is massive (beach huts available for hire). Train station is accessible by tram.

Although a small town, the centre is very full with shops, food stalls and restraurant. Fries, ice-cream and chocolate are all there. Although as :Belgium, I'd expect way more chocolate shops.
The beach is long and not crowded. It is fitted with cabins that can be rented.
There is an amusement park (and water park) which can make for a fun day out. You'd need to book it.
There are not halal food places around, and the closest thing is across the French border (~20KM).

There was a market in the centre that was lively and full of interesting things. De Panne is expensive and even moderate restaurants cost Euro 70/80 for two. THe beach is long and sandy so ideal for those with children.

Hidden gem.
Hidden gem. Miles of soft sand, with sheltered eating/drinking restaurants on the beach. Miles of promenade, easily accessed with the hire of a bicycle or cart. The town has remarkable architecture, reflecting th history of late 19th century grandeur right up to on going developments.

Lovely town, in summer or winter. People are very friendly.
Lovely town, in summer or winter. People are very friendly. Good selection of shops and restaurants. Lots to see and do. Coastal tram access. Easy access to the motorway. The beach is huge and it never feels crowded. De Panne is a wonderful example of the best of Belgium.
I booked the wrong dates, but the receptionist was quick to re arrange our reservation and gave us 2 rooms opposite of each other, the kids loved it so much, we had our own private corner.
breakfast was great, lots to choose from, a waffle maker, the croissants were really fresh and sweet, amazing fruit.
The location is also good, we went to Plopsa with the tram, 2 minute walk from the hotel, 2 stops.
There was a little Christmas village, we had good pizza..
Overall we had a great time, the kids don't want to leave :(
Friendly staff, central location but still quiet. We had the apartment, which is around the corner of the hotel in a separate apartment complex. The apartment was very clean with ample space and two double beds. The apartment complex has parking spaces for 20€/night although it is relatively easy to find a spot in De Panne. Breakfast is good and served in a pleasantly decorated room.
I made the reservation very last minute, like a day before, but this was not a problem. Everything was clean when we arrived, there was some food in the fridge, clean towels in the bathroom. Every morning at 8am the breakfast arrived. My son loved the bunk bed and wanted to stay longer. It is really close to Plopsaland, which was great in our case.
We are very happy that we found this hotel! It was in a perfect location in the middle of the center, with walking distance to the beach. The hotel was really cute and cozy, and our balcony was very nice with sun in the evening. The restaurant where we had breakfast was super cozy!! I will definitely stay here next time I go to De Panne.
Louise met us at the door, she was very friendly and showed us around.
The studio is literally 10 seconds from the beach and a 20/25 minute walk on the beach from the Westhoek nature reserve which is why we wanted to stay in De Panne. The studio was super clean and well equipped. It is also very luminous.
Very clean and tidy. Well equipped and maintained to a high standard. Plenty of space for a family of 4 and conveniently located for the beach or Plopsaland. There are no negatives. If you are considering a few places for a family of 4 in De Panne - just book this one.
For our expectations the accommodation was a good size with a nice garden and we could walk to Plopsaland and Plopsaqua and the Train/Tram station.
The owners were helpful and responded quickly to all queries.
The staff was friendly and the hotel looks really stylish. The size of the room and bathroom was good as well. The hotel is centrally located and right next to the beach, the shops, the restaurants etc.
Really kind and helpful host. The location was really close to Plopsaland De Panne and 10 minutes from the center by tram. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would definitely visit again
Excellent breakfast with plenty of options. Better than expected.
De Verloren Gernoare is located directly opposite De Panne station and very close to Plopsaland with free parking available nearby.

This was a very good experience. The hotel is quiet at night and my room suited my needs perfectly. The breakfast was very good a standard Belgian presentation, I think.
