The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We liked very much the proximity (less than 10 m) of the hotel with the seashore (the sea was absolutely gorgeous during our stay) and the possibility to have long walks along the line of seashore one the one hand (recently build concrete road towards Albena, not yet the acces of the cars), and the nice smelling vegetation, with birds sounds and 20-40 m heigh of cliffs on the other hand.
The dinner was really excellent for both days we eat it here. Very tasty all dishes we ordered, and professional and aesthetic presentation. The vegetables, cheese and fish were local and good quality. The price is fair for the quality and quantity of the food on the plate.
Very good homemade bread for one breakfast. Are a direct relation between the numbers of tourists and type of breakfast, but the staff are very kind and offer us different alternatives if we had different preferences.
The very big (+) of the property was for us the Spa & Wellness facilities (including very professional massage-therapy following different technics (I think are over 15 types), including use of essential oils, warm Himalaya salt stones, crystals or Ayurvedic herbs, nut also typical Thay massage and other manually technics for relaxing, fortification, anticellulite so on.). We had "very good time" with the fish spa procedure and unexpected detox spa, both of them on the feet. Are also gym, salt room, pool, etc.

Impressive at first sight: posh overall appearance, baroque style furniture (we had Deluxe Double room), a bottle of Chardonnay as welcome gift. They have an interior pool & SPA but under repair at the time of our stay; sauna was available.
Child friendly: there is a child pool with a small slider, an outside playground with a swing, a playground next to the restaurant/ terrace. NB: the pool is clean (we read contrary reviews before), the child pool might have a leaf or two, but that due to the trees above it.
The room was clean, towels changed in 2 days (as I recall), reception desk very friendly.
Breakfast was average.

i wouldn't go the second time. a bunch of crooks. parking in the street is not possible not bc there r no spots but bc they r blocked by the owner of the parking lots so u don't have a choice but to park in the parking lots and pay 2$ an hr .also the visiting of the palace of regina maria its a rip off it cost to get with the car in 22$ a person and its not much to see for that price. To get to the beach u have to pay an entrance. the food and service at most restaurants stink.in parts of the city where u can park in the street the way to pay is by text message but u have to have a local phone nr which u don't and then the app is done u only have the choice of paying for 24 h /6$ .also the instruction for parking has a sticker in top of the instruction with a QR that a ripof and that's with the help of the authority cause those stickers r on all instruction thru out the city and the city doesnt do any eforts to remove them .conclusion not the second time for me .too bad cause its a place with a lot of potential

NIce old town but only for relaxation and long walks on the seafront, renovated. you can eat at Korona or Mistral seafoods, or bulgarian dishes but quite expensive. You should try Bulgarin wines, like Karnobat vineyard, Chardonnay along with fish.

Balchik is like a gem!
Balchik is like a gem! Beautiful landscapes near the Black Sea and that unique sensation that you can experience in the Patatuli gardens of Queen Marie, namely that you can have both the Sea and the Smell and the feeling of a day spent in nature. in the heart of the forest or surrounded by the most beautiful flowers.
The cliff has some rocks on the edge facing the sea with discreet sculptures on them, interesting to look at.
We had a sunset, for which we took 1 bottle of prosecco and 2 glasses, a blanket and ran to catch it, after which we had dinner at one of the restaurants on the seafront.
We ended the evening with a walk to the port, admiring the beautiful architecture of the buildings on the seafront.
For a romantic get away weekend it's perfect!
New-ish rooms & aparts with a prime perch overlooking the Black Sea, the promenade & restaurants. 10 minute walk to beautiful Balchik Palace & Gardens.
Swimming pool & location are hands down the best features here. Because of their pidgin poop problem, Management eventually moved us to a less poopy room. They’re nice, they’re trying, but it was a hassle & it took a while for them to understand we didn’t want a downgraded room as a substitute.
We've had a wonderful experience with Simon Green and our hosts. It was the best place I've ever been privileged enough to stay at in Bulgaria. Great location in Balchik, high quality rooms, very clean. The apartment is practically new and well equipped. And the hosts were incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice, when I was in need, so I'm deeply grateful to them.
We loved the view and the wrap-around balcony (270 degrees I think) which was partially enclosed, so we could enjoy it regardless of the weather. The flat was large with a comfy couch and good bed. There was a washing machine, so we could do laundry. Host was responsive when we had questions or needed something. Balchik is a pleasant beach-front town.
The hotel is 2 mins away from the sea, 5 mins away from the beach and very near to the main tourist area with all the restaurants and bars. It was exceptionally clean. Our sheets and towels were changed almost daily. The room was spacious, sound proof, had a good air conditioner, fridge and tv. The staff is amazing. They were very helpful and friendly
The hotel is close to the Botalical Garden and Castle of Regina Maria, on the hills, so the visit is very easy if that is your plan. However, to reach the beaches (which are not so many), there a is 20 min walk downhill. I appreciated the slippers and big balcony with sea view, however, the suite was smaller than in the picture (no couch area).
It is a nice place to stay, offering good accomodation conditions at a fair price. The hotel is located right on the beach, being perfect for families with kids.
We appreciated the staff who are very friendly and helpfull, the Lady at the reception also was very kind, she offered us a bigger room, with very nice view to the sea.
Exceptional
😀 - The hotel is amazing, the staff is helpful and the location and view is great! The restaurant part is also a great shoot , they serves a lot of different food options to please every taste
Decent hotel in a great location, with good sized pool and free parking. Stayed here a few times now and delighted to see the same friendly receptionist each time.
Very comfortable family hotel, helpful and willing owners and staff, great locality. Overall happiness about this choice compared to other options in Balchik.
