Breakfast had lots of different great options, everything fresh. The room was particularly spacious with enough room for all luggage, adequate place for work and the shower was amazing. The owner is really kind and he makes the best "arabic curd!!!

    I went to Resende on a business trip, so not the best type...

    I went to Resende on a business trip, so not the best type of travelling to properly evaluate a city. Nonetheless, this is a small city at some 150 km (93 mi) from the capital Rio de Janeiro. There is a beautiful river which makes its way thought the city centre, Paraíba do Sul, that is just magnificent. People were welcoming and friendly, and a pronounced countryside vibe resonated everywhere I went. It is a nice place for relaxing and getting in touch with nature, as many green patches and natural forests are within driving distance. There is not much else to do in the city, but there is a fair provision of restaurants and variety stores concentrated in the city centre. A nice place for a walk in the warm afternoons.
