Area was 3-feet deep - about right for exploring around and enjoying the sand bank. The "service" boat with snacks and drinks was super cool and convenient. They know each other and all you need to do is tell them your name and hotel (or tour). You consume there and then square the bill when back on the beach. The captains all have a side business taking pictures with an underwater camera and they do take great photos.
