The staff were excellent both friendly and professional from front desk to reception no one could be faulted. The breakfast was sensational. The cabin were rustic and basic but had their charm.

Jayla Homestay is a nice and cozy place to stay at a reasonable price.
The apartment and the rooms are clean and well furnished, there is a good WiFi, fridge and air conditioning, which is most important.
Our host Mmapula is very easy to communicate with - we arranged for her to pick us up from the airport, then she helped us by taking us to a suitable place in town for a bit of shopping for some essentials.
Check in went smoothly, we had a small issue with the water but our host was responsive and the issue was quickly resolved. Our hostess was also kind enough to prepare us a barbecue dinner.
Apart from being very polite and helpful, Mmapula is a very nice and warm person to have a friendly chat with. It was then that we spontaneously came up with an idea to go to a music party together in the evening - Mmapula took the time to organize for us and we had a nice fun evening with lots of dancing.
After all this, I think it is clear that I highly recommend Jaila Homestay to anyone who needs accommodation in Maun.
