Moncton is always welcoming.
Moncton is always welcoming. Its clean and you can feel a great energy there. Everyone seems friendly and we love visiting. Typically we onky go for day trips but staying overnight is a special treat. Love the area! It's so easy to navigate and great shopping! We also enjoy eating there when we go. We did not visit very much as we spent some time visiting family. We ate at the Keg, beautiful restaurant, very good food and service. Except for where there was road construction, Moncton is fairly easy to get around.

The variety of shopping options was great and mostly the people were friendly ..... however, as a mixed race couple, we did experience a few openly hostile, racist encounters which we found surprising in a so-called 1st world country ..... with the exception of Charlottetown PEI (where it was the same) cannot recall that we encountered similar to this level in Halifax, Fredericton, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Kelowna or Vancouver where we visited recently .....

The Château Moncton was the best hotel we stayed during our month long trip through the Maritimes. It was clean and and appeared to have many upgrades in the bathroom and the bedroom area. It offered a great value for what we paid.
