Detailed description:
The design of igloos is unique and cool. The pool area is so nice and offers a lot of interaction with other travellers. The Casa Planta is also a good option for refreshing drinks by the pool. Parking was free with security cameras and the welcoming drink was a nice touch. The hotel team is responsive and always around.
The room is so clean and has nice toiletries and essential oil diffuser (that was really surprising)
The location of the hotel is maybe 5 months walk from the beach which is great. There are a couple of beach restaurants to eat from but if you want to explore more, please note the area is filled with uphills and expect to walk for 15 min min (4min drive) to nearest good rated restaurant.
Overall since the area and national park were underwhelming I can say the hotel was the highlight of my trip. The hotel’s back yard is a jungle (we explored the view the last day). Seeing monkeys from the hotel is not impossible. We saw one black from a distance and we saw the most beautiful birds (yellow and red bellied) that honestly I didn’t see elsewhere in the area. Also the last day an amazingly medium sized bird came in exploring the pool area and we were all stunned with how beautiful this bird was.
I would definitely stay there again.
This hotel is located about 1.2 mi from Quepos, 5 minutes’ drive from Manuel Antonio National Park. Its spacious suites have a kitchenette and jungle views, and there is an outdoor pool.

Location cannot be beat, it is the second closest hotel to Manuel Antonio park entrance and just a 2 minute walk. Very clean, safe and friendly staff. Bed was comfortable and hot water in the shower. For those with a large rental car, parking is tight- the hotel entrance is located in an unpaved alleyway and most of the parking is along the side of the alley making for very narrow maneuvering. We had a Toyota crossover and were a bit nervous about cars driving by but we were there one night and didn’t have any issues. Check out is at 11:30 am and you must move your car by that time. All in all great value!

I forgot to mention before about the assistance I got from the customer service representative ELISABETH. She helped me since the very begin of my reservation to the very end with great knowledge, efficiency and patience. I am I little challenged with the internet but she was right there for me, did not matter the time. We are all lucky for having her.

Absolutely stunning area of Costa Rica.
Absolutely stunning area of Costa Rica. A very nice and friendly vibe in the area. No safety concerns at all. Beaches.....just "wow". Do not miss this area. Stayed for 6 nights...could easily have stayed longer.

Good beaches.
Good beaches. Espadilla, even when crowded, is large enough that you can walk a little and get a fairly empty beach if you prefer. A car is a must-have if you plan to explore the town, but you're not missing much if you stay in a resort with beach and jungle access the whole time. The most expensive restaurants are good, all others are nothing special and just okay to not be hungry. You'll get better treatment as a foreigner because people expect tips, so definitely take advantage of that if you are one.

Mid-February is very hot and humid for this area - 90 degrees Fahrenheit everyday. We really enjoyed visiting the park and seeing rainforest wildlife, swimming at the beaches (watch out for strong rip tides!), and familiarizing ourselves with an area we had never been to before. Be ready to pay tourist prices (you are in a high tourism area - and it is so for a good reason), but if you can get an apartment with a kitchen, visiting the Quepos farmer's market and being able to make some of your own meals make this area more affordable. Glen's on the beach has the best chairs and his whole family is so kind and helpful. Going into the park for the first time with a guide is highly recommended, but so is going a second time on your own at your own pace. Get there first thing in the morning, because it heats up and gets busy after 9 AM. Eat at the Falafel Bar, like everyone says, because it is delicious (the smoothies are really refreshing). The public busy is easy to navigate, so use it and explore! Favorite activity in the area, other than the national park, was by far the Night Damas Mangrove Tour with Iguana Tours. Explore and have fun!

The room and bathroom was large and balcony overlooked the jungle, monkeys and birds came to the balcony everyday
The area is so lush with beautiful flowers and trees. The beach area and ocean was really nice. The way down to the beach was easily accessible, the path down has ropes on both sides to help.
Swimming pool was lovely surrounded by tables and umbrellas could have meals there if chosen. Excursions easily booked by agents and very informative.

Outstanding facilities.
Outstanding facilities. The grounds are amazing with a nature trail, many amenities, multiple swimming pools and restaurant choices. Our only suggestion would be for a more detailed description - perhaps a printed booklet - of the various excursions you can book from the hotel.
This was a perfect place location for visiting Manuel Antonio with our family. The hotel room was comfortable and fit us and our two teenagers. The bar and restaurant area make you feel like you are truly in the middle of a jungle. Each morning, we had the monkeys in the trees above us. We were woken in the morning by the howler monkeys. It was amazing! Also, there are lots of restaurants around, easy access to a beautiful beach about 200yds away, and it's an easy 10 min walk to the entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park.
This was the most incredible hotel we've experienced in Costa Rica!
The rooms are stunning, super clean and practical, down to the smallest details. The hotel's grounds are beautiful, especially with the lovely river-like swimming pool. Additionally, the location is ideal – close enough to all the restaurants while still being secluded enough to fully enjoy the solitude of the surrounding forest.
Additionally, the hotel owner has a wonderful personality and is extremely welcoming.
Hotel is located very close to the Manuel Antonio national park entrance (very convinient as your car can be parked for free at the hotel secured parking and then you can just walk to the park entrance). At the same time, great and long beach is just across the road - amazing for morning walks!
It takes a few minutes of walk to several good restaraunts nearby, if you do not want to eat in the hotel cafe itself.
My room had a nice view of the palms facing the beach.
The hotel staff are very friendly and always ready to help with any problems. I really liked the excellent attitude of the staff towards the guests.
The excellent location of the hotel next to the entrance to the Manuel Antonio National Park is just a wonderful bonus to a comfortable stay at this hotel.
I really liked the presence of various beaches near the hotel: public with black volcanic sand and beaches in the national park with white coral sand.
Well located hotel, very close to the beach and Manuel Antonio parc. The room was simple but comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, allowing us to leave our bags at the reception while visiting the park. We could also leave our car in the hotel's parking.
The pool was a nice bonus. Overall a nice place, but showing signs of ages. With some renovations / fresh paint it could become an amazing location. Ideal for a short stay to visit the park.
We picked this hotel because of the (relatively easy) walk to the beach, and that worked out perfectly. The pool was also great for our kids, and it was awesome to be able to order food from the restaurant to eat poolside. Our room was amazing ... two huge king beds with a jungle view, and great AC! Breakfast was a buffet with lots of options ... not the best we had in Costa Rica, but pretty good and very convenient.
Perfect location. right next to the entry for Manuel Antonio National Park and minutes from the beach and main shops/restaurants on the beach. Easy to use the local bus up to the main town too. Be careful of the local white-faced monkeys who will raid your balcony early in the morning if you leave anything outside! Lots of friendly local iguana as well
The stuff was incredibly nice and eager to help. They were also ready to do an extra service for us (laundry - after one week in Costa Rica we really needed it).
The location, you don’t even need to go to any national park, cause you can see all the animals without leaving the hotel.
The place is still under construction, but it didn’t bother us at all
The bungalows are really nice, huge window with a sea view. Beach is really close and that is hard to come by in Manuel Antonio, as this is rather mountainous region. We even walked to the National Park from the hotel, it's not that far. The staff is very positive and helpful. The drinks in the restaurant are pretty nice as well!
Good hotel for the price, it is set back from the main road and feels very private. The pool was decently clean and there are hiking trails private to the hotel surrounding it. Quick drive up the road to Manuel Antonio national park and beach. The front desk offers umbrellas to borrow which is nice for hikes around the property.
Beautiful views of the pacific.
Hotel staff was accommodating when I realized the room I booked was only accessible by stairs (which I was unable to do). They placed us in a suite on the main level.
Front desk was great at helping us organize a shuttle service to the beach and tour to Manuel Antonio National Park.
The hotel has some of the standards you would expect from a hotel of this category: nice staff, good restaurant, beach towels, good housekeeping. The bed was very good and the room was clean. It is nice to relax by their swimming pool, specially after a hot day in Manuel Antonio park.
Beautifully located right on the beach and close to the beautiful Manuel Antonio park. Nice rooms, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Also loved the nice restaurants up in the hills (Anaconda/ Avion) that provide a beautiful panaroma view of the bay and its birds and monkeys.
All the animals in Costa Rica seem to be at the hotel! Very clean, Manuel is so helpful, and you are felt to feel a part of the family while there! Fall down the hill to the beach and walk back for relaxation around the pool. It is not brand new but it is well kept and clean!
It is next door to the Manuel Antonio Park. it takes five minutes to walk there. It is also only a few minutes walk to a very nice beach and restaurants. The hotel has a pool where you can relax. Our room was very simple, but clean. The parking was a big plus.
Perfect boutique hotel. clean modern and steps to the park. lovely setting with monkeys and iguanas by the pool. Staff amazingly helpful and responsive . we had dinner at the recommended restaurant two hotels up, best meal in Costa Rica
Breakfast service was fast. We had much closer experiences with capuchin monkeys at the hotel than inside Manuel Antonio National Park. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and offered towels to use at the beach.
Room was quite large with comfortable beds. Easy drive to Manuel Antonio National Park and the beach. Easy walk to Hotel La Luna which had a great rooftop bar for sunset viewing.
Great first days in Costa Rica. Location perfect near the beach and the park. Chicken curry my fav dish. Staff so helplful and flexible on many levels. Pura Vida
