It has a small, but beautiful collection of Gothic and renessaince art worth visiting in a local gallery. Small but very clean and smart city - really nice historical city center and lovely streets around. Also great startung point of uour trip to hills like a Kamyk, Hradiste, Lysa hill etc (its around 1,5h by walk) What I dont like are cars on the squeare but its the same in all nice cities in Czech Republic and its pity..Milan ChudobaCzech Republic - 10Scored 10

Picturesque Czech town in its own right but most important feature is 3 km south, nice walk or cycle, Terezin. This was a notorious Nazi site and also has important fortresses and other relics from earlier history. A day spent here is very well spent.

Yes, it is far from being 5-star hotel:) BUT it was quiet (which was very important for my wife), very clean, comfortable beds, everything is in working condition and you can see that they are trying to refresh the rooms/bathroom. We got the room with balcony - and it was great! Breakfast is no thrills, but really fair deal. As long as it offers good value for money (we have paid 55 eur per night for 2 people with breakfast), we will gladly use this hotel again!RemigijusLithuania

Even if you choose a different hotel, just walk here for breakfast. The restaurant is very good - it makes up for some of the things that we didn't like. The room itself is quite pleasant. Parking is right on the city Square, where the hotel is located (free for the weekend). You can walk anywhere, and it's a surprisingly beautiful little town. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable with a nice feel to it. The bathroom is also big and comfortable. The host was very kind and gave us a lift to the train station. Litomerice is a very pretty, quiet town, lovely to explore. By the way, I must have asked for a parking spot by mistake as we didn't need it, so I cannot comment on its availability.
