I like that there is a huge supermarket next to it, and also a tram station nearby in less than 2 min walking!

Close to the station. Lovely art murals on its walls inside, but the staff don’t know their meaning or of the hotel name. Fantastic manager Silke who turned all the bad experiences around. Taxi bookings made.
Set in a historic warehouse, this 4-star hotel overlooks a side stream of the River Saale. It offers modern spa facilities and a large riverside terrace. Free internet is available in the hotel lobby....

Es war wie nach Hause kommen. Sehr zum wohlfühlen.

Halle is quite an attractive city with lots of old style buildings and cobbled streets. However it lacks atmosphere and is quite a boring place. We were visiting my daughter who is currently based there working so we had a good time, but it's not a place I would go back to apart from to visit her, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Such an interesting city!
Such an interesting city! Two castles, an interesting bar/pub/cafe scene, you can feel the energy and buzz from the young people around the university and art school. Great public transport, a lot of history, and also a wealth of public green areas. The Saale valley is lovely for walks, canoing and boat trips and makes you forget the city with its attractions is just a few steps away.

Halle is a cute little city, with a really nice old town.
Halle is a cute little city, with a really nice old town. It has a good transport system, with plenty of cafes and cosy bars, and shops. There are also plenty of nice parks to visit. It also has a good music scene for alternative music.

Beautiful!
Beautiful! Absolutely not what you would expect from East Germany. The level of English is not the same as in West Germany or Berlin, but enough of the staff have functional use, or are extremely pleasant and patient to explain things without words. Watch out for the bikes!
Eat at the Schnitzel only restaurant. :D Just Google it... easy to find. Fabulous.

Enjoyable city with great market place.
Enjoyable city with great market place. City has evolved a lot over the years. I know it from 1990 East Germany times-it was very grey and run down. Since then its looks improved a lot and is on way to becoming a vibrant small town near Leipzig. Street tram ist great. Walking is great too-it is easy to get around Halle an der Saale.
Leopoldina is worth a visit.

The room was small, but comfortable. The location was fantastic, across the street from the cathedral and market area with lots of restaurants and shopping. There was a large grocery store next door. The parking garage was very convenient but did cost extra. Breakfast cost extra so we opted out, but it looked very nice. The best part was the friendly and very helpful receptionist! We would highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is located right at the city centre, a very short way from the central station (which itself is very close to Leipzig airport), the high street is also just off the hotel. There's a range of Asian (mostly Vietnamese) restaurants close by the hotel.
The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the room was also very quiet.
150 Euros not worth it in Halle. Probably a 90 Euro incl breakfast for 2 would be fair value.
Fancy designs cannot make up for
- small rooms
- no proper drawer in the room
- no desk in the room
- extremely soft beds
- below average 3 star hotel breakfast
- 15 Eur for a parking lot (in such a cheap city?!)
The internet was actually pretty fast and reliable, when we stayed here the weather was really hot and they provided a fan that came in handy. They let us store our bikes in a safe place inside the hotel, free of cost and without any problems. I think for the price it is a great option.
Liked the rooms and also the breakfast very much. The hotel is very convenient for us since my son Walter lives in a flat nearby - and he is Intendant of Oper Halle! So the combination of being near the station and only 10 to 15 minutes walk from the operahouse is ideal!
Very nice and helpful staff. Very good breakfasts - with lots of choice. The method of preparing the table deserves a special mention. Possibility to leave the car in a guarded parking lot. Location is quite good, although there are some attractions near the hotel.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location couldn't be better – it's conveniently close to both the tram stop and a supermarket, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and picking up any essentials.
The room was very spacious and the hotel is in a very good location if one has business in Paulusviertel/Giebichenstein. The breakfast was very comprehensive and the staff were very attentive. We would certainly come back!
This hotel offers a great breakfast variety. The rooms are small but clean and the bathroom is in good shape with decent water pressure. It is also convenient located near the train station.
Check in can be done without hotel staff using check on spot outside the hotel, which is a great option if you move in at night time. Great room and facilities.
Parking at hotel (if it is full, there is a big paid parking next to the hotel).
Very friendly staff.
Authentic fachwerk atmosphere in rooms at top floor.
This was a great stay in a very nice old-fashioned hotel close to the downtown. Our room was perfectly clean. Friendly stuff at the reception. Good breakfast
A friendly little hotel, nice people, not too far from the city center, adequate parking. Comfortable bed, good breakfast. Will come again, if in Halle.
