Wooden (or vinyl) floors, bathroom was sparkling clean and new, the guys even put bath salt and candles. Very family and small baby friendly place, great team and exceptional service. Custom made breakfast was delivered right to our room at the agreed time in advance. Parking 5 metres walk from the entrance. All hiking paths are super close and convenient to reach tourist destinations. I will for sure stay here again with my family!!!NataliaGermany

We felt there like at home. We enjoyed staying there. It was one of the best apartments we have ever stayed. There is an apartment below the castle, surrounded by the rocks and forrest, only two minutes on foot to picturesque centre of town Pottenstein. We can recommend this apartments to demanding tourists.

We had to pay cash for the room upon check in, but I had already expected that due to a previous comment before booking. Very clean and spacious room. Short walk to a bakery, some restaurants, and view points. There is free parking across the hotel from 6pm-9am. After that, it's metered paid parking.

Hotel host has a big heart and is a fantastic person. Breakfast rich and tasty. Views from the balcony are breathtaking (to the castle on the hill). Quiet location, but walking distance from restaurants.

However, we had a room with a private bathroom so it was much like the other hotels we stayed at recently. Our room was large and clean, with a massive bed, good bedding and lovely smelling towels. It was peaceful and we slept really well. Good parking.
