I loved how friendly and accommodating our host, Laura, was (with a love for details and little treats everywhere!) and how quickly she responded to all of our messages. The apartment itself was very stylish and comfortable. We especially loved the fact that we had 2 bathrooms for us 4.
Loved it, we’ll be back for a longer stay. I’d forgotten how much we’d liked this part of Spain back in our biking days! The Infanta Isabel accommodation is great, seems to be part of a development rescuing part of the town’s older quarter. Plaza de la Villa is like a medieval set waiting for a film crew to arrive. Arevalo is a small place so easy to get around in the hunt for somewhere to eat. Around the Plaza de la Villa are some restaurants, quite expensive and not all open the Friday we were there. We went in search of an Italian restaurant with good reviews and found it closed - and looking unlikely to open any time soon! We entertained - and were entertained by - some delightful and friendly local people who pointed us in the direction of…Sharkies, a bar/restaurant serving tapas, pizzas, kebabs and platos combinados - very friendly and efficient service and good food reasonably priced.
Style and lay out of hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Strong & large shower area. Mini fridge. Lift. Location, central square of small old town. Surrounded by bars, restaurants. Suckling pig is traditional dish. Free parking in square and side streets. Just drive around Didn’t go to new part of town. Flat walking distance to all.
Good tapas in bar. We didn’t eat in restaurant but was popular. Beside Church. Bells finish before midnight so no problem.
Spectacular 3 bedroom apartment. Deluxe accommodation with great bathrooms, living room and kitchen. Kitchen well stocked, coffee etc, toast and pastries - we brought cheese and meat, Nutella and jams. The hosts were the nicest people one could hope for. The location in Arevalo is the best. Parking free and next door.
Great hotel. Really neat old world vibe. Restaurant in the hotel was great. Fantastic staff. They all tried their best to speak to us in the English they did know and were very patient with our level of Spanish speaking. Air conditioning worked great. Black out curtains and shutters. Bed was comfortable.
Location was excellent in the centre of Arévalo. The dinner was outstandingly good with local specialities ! The Posada was nice, old-fashioned and quirky, but really interestingly furnished. Enjoyed our stay and were able to sit outside for our dinner opposite a lovely church.
close to the highway and easy for late check in, quick arrival quick departure. spacious room with good internet and good bathroom. despite being a hostal I was very satisfied and some hotels are worse for more money. easy check in via the nearby restaurant that’s open late.
The hotel was lovely with helpful staff. The food was outstanding. I would stay there again. The town itself was old and interesting. A stay which surprised us.
