Everything was perfect - from the delicious breakfast to the comfortable bed. The hotel room furniture little bit old but it’s okay. The hotel offers convenient car parking right in front. I introduced this beautiful region to my wife and a befriended couple from Denmark and decided to book a 2 nights weekend getaway at the Hotel Val Vignes in St. Hippolyte. The hotel itself is beautiful and so is the location. The service of the frontdesk team and all the employees we encountered is magnificent. We enjoyed every interaction with them. Beeing it pre- and afterdinner drinks, bike rental, wine storage; everything was great, and as mentioned, the staff is superb. The only disappointment was the actual room. We booked the Premium category, but the room didn't look at all as displayed. We had a parking view and the room was just OK. A bummer as it didn't match the overall wonderful experience we encountered at this exceptional hotel. Also, the room cleaning was not up to standard. Dirty towels (we put on the floor) were taken but not exchanged. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel, but we would ensure we will get an appropriate room per booked category when visiting again.
