Room was roomy but a little bright as we only had venitions and there was a light right outside.
Breakfast was just what we wanted.

I made a mix up whilst booking, the owner of the hotel telephoned me in person the next day to reassure me dates could be changed and not to panic. She even very kindly threw in a room upgrade. The Customer Service was excellent and the hotel and location were fab too, as was the big breakfast!

Good location with parking not too far away. Good large bathroom, good shower. Handy cafe underneath the property with good selection of food and drinks. Helpful greeting allowing us to dump our bag before check-in.

The old ambience feel of the hotel it was old but in a modern way.Very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, I liked the table service for the main meals.

Hotel closer to Railway Station than I thought especially as I walked, no need for a Taxi. Close to City centre with a nice leisurely stroll. Breakfast was good but Jam or Marmalade would have been a bonus [didn't appear to be any and must admit didn't ask]. Room was basic but ample and clean/comfortable and quiet although next to main road.

Great rambling home with heaps of rooms, great modern touches and lots of quality household items to make you as self sufficient as you want to be. Gorgeous setting on a large, bustling working estate full of history, character and energy. Add a pub and you wouldn’t want to leave. Wish we had more time there.
