The hotel is lovely - very well run with friendly professional staff providing high standards of service, from the doorman, to the seated check-in process, to being shown to our room, and the turndown service. The first day of our stay the breakfast was good but second day not really , seems the chef was different . The pool area was good, the bar and the little garden was a nice place to have your coffee in the morning. Staff very helpful and friendly .

I found my room and the whole hotel very cosy and comfortable. My room was a small one, but big enough for me. The buffet breakfast has several cold options (cereals, juices, fruit, jams) and a few hot food options between to choose. Also, the staff was very kind all the time.

As a cheaper-end place to stay in the centre of Chester, the Townhouse met our expectations perfectly. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent - everything was so tasty! The room was a good size and the bathroom was clean and well-kept, too. Bonus mention to the staff for the extra attention paid to our room upon the request of celebrating my partner - the balloons and setup were such a gorgeous touch! Lack of parking - we thought would be an issue but the nearby APCOA car park was easy to find and the hotel provide a 50% discount, so it was much easier than expected!
