This place was easy to find, with well communicated instructions and you can be left to your own devices with confidence.
The location is great: quiet and 5 minutes' walk to amazing sandy beaches and rock pools. Views are out onto the harbour.
There are fantastic places to eat: Duncan's, an artisan bakery and an incredible Gelateria within <5 minute walks. Lovely stay.
Parking right outside too and an EV charger in town.

Loved the location, room exactly as described, it is tiny as not much space to move around,
the bathroom has good storage , but big bed, decent size refrigerator and nice microwave and electric kettle.
The size of the room was not a problem for us as we only needed to sleep, watch a show on TV and was out most of the day, we were busy all day.
The complimentary basket is very nice.
Loved to catch up on our Netflix and relax .
Loved the room facing the back and quiet, bonus for the splashing koi fish in the neighbours yard, quite nice sounds.
The staff we met was friendly and helpful, lovely people.

The location is really great with easy access to main shops / food outlets and pubs. Nice access to the promenade and good walks to the beach and surrounds. Its our second time staying at Ervin Bay and its good value for money and we totally recommended

There is plenty of choice for eating and drinking. All tastes are catered for with restaurants and take-aways as well as cafes and coffee shops. The shops in town and The Rivergate Shopping Centre are all within fairly easy walking distance. Hamiltons, 2 High St. The Carrick 112 High St and Adesso, 6 Glasgow Vennel are all good eating places but there are plenty of cafes and takeaways to suit everyone. Restaurant called Niche is fabulous. Food fantastic, staff welcoming. Gro coffee sells the most fantastic cakes ever! Duncan’s breakfast was delicious. Rolls Cafe bacon barms taste scrummy. Harbour lights great lively bar.

Has to be the beach and other surrounding beaches. We stayed in a heat wave which was fantastic. I know Irvine as I grew up there and was back visiting family. Some lovely restaurants and bars. Lots of different dog walking areas and a lot of dog friendly beaches. Lovely historic town, home of the Scottish Maritime Museum. We stayed at Harbourside which was very quiet. Very friendly place, we ate at the Ship Inn, they were fantastic hosts, beautiful food and dog friendly. They even gave us some milk for our morning coffee because we couldn’t find a shop open and it was getting late. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore the area much, we had to move onAAnonymous
