It was annoying having to repeatedly sign in to the WiFi. The staff made The Channings - it could be smarter but it felt great to stay because the staff were so friendly and helpful.

The room boasted high ceilings and ample space, complemented by blackout curtains guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. While not situated in the city's heart, its proximity to a nearby bus stop made it conveniently accessible. The peaceful ambiance of the area made a leisurely 2-mile stroll to the city center quite appealing. Attention to detail was evident throughout, with pleasant and intriguing decor featuring soothing neutral tones. The spacious bathroom was a highlight, though I regretted not having more time to indulge in it. Overall, the atmosphere felt welcoming and hospitable, akin to being at home. I enthusiastically recommend this place for a delightful stay.

Good local bars and restaurants, easy walking to the train station giving access to Bath or Bristol each about 10 - 15 mins. away. Brislington Park & Ride car-park is only 15 mins. drive away too.

It was a little overpriced with not enough attention to cleaning detail
Staff were however very friendly and helpful
Our room needed to be locked with a key and there was a sign outside the room telling you how to lock the door
The shower was a bit too small as I am a big guy but otherwise was ok
Pleasant enough for an overnight stay

Two lovely meals, one at the Lock keeper Inn other at The Brassmill. Both within walking distance. Town had various pubs and Wine bar which had live music every Friday and Saturday night. Lovely big park behind town. Walk or cycle The Monarch Way to the Bristol and Bath Railway path. A few style gates to negotiate and steps up to railway path. But worth it.

Keynsham is a small historic town on the banks of the River Avon with many picturesque walks along it. A lot of decent places to eat and within easy reach of some gorgeous countryside. Would recommend the Lockkeepers pub for service and food

River and canal walks are great.
River and canal walks are great. Interesting pubs, villages and churches dotted around (e.g. Hanham lock and Hanham Court). Interersting to get a bit of history of the old Abbey and the Fry's chocolate factory (now appartments). Just north of Keynsham, the Bristol to Bath old railway path was appealing, but actually was so well used by cyclists (that's not a complaint) that that wasn't so pleasant to walk. If you like old steam trains though, there's a couple of nice old stations with working trains. There's a surpisingly good and tasty selection of international and UK food on the otherwise drab, standard, 1960s Keynsham high street. We went to a Mexican, a Chinese and a craft coffee shop.

It was only a quick visit, as we were taking our Daughter to university in Bath Spa. I was a great location as our Son lives in Bristol. This is an ideal central spot for both of the cities. The area has plenty of facilities and looked very clean.
fabulous location in lovely Keynsham right by the river and park but just a stones throw from the high street. Bristol and Bath so close so ideal location for visiting there and exploring the local countryside. brilliant accommodation, spotless and with everything we needed. super comfy mattresses. beautiful dining room and lounge, two great bathrooms with bath and shower. good kitchen. place was lovely and warm with central heating.
The hosts were great, very informative, friendly and helpful. They sent us a great interactive guide of the area with all local venues and amenities on it. We would definitely stay here again when we are next back in the area. We would highly recommend this property. The town has some good pubs/bars and restaurants, the property is a short walk through a nice park to the high street.
There was a secret room through the wardrobe to the bathroom which was quite fun. The room was very large with a sofa as well as the bed etc. The bathroom marble flooring was impressive, as well as the built in walk in shower. Located at the end of the Wellsway this is a short drive into Keynsham.
Really sweet little property. It was light, spacious, airy and clean. Perfect for what we needed as a base to work out of for a few days.
Located conveniently close to Keynsham and Bristol if commuting is needed. And had a very lovely warm welcome, even when we arrived late in the evening.
Great place. Lovely staff. Comfortable. Parking available. Interesting period decor. The bedroom and bathroom were massive. The bedroom had a four poster bed. The price was really good. Much more of an experience than staying in a boring modern hotel.
This is a lovely old & charming hotel to stay in whilst visiting Bristol. The room was very clean, welcoming & had everything you needed. Staff & services were pleasant, polite & very helpful. Bed & breakfast was excellent value for the price too.
Breakfast was somewhat good, area was good. 20 min walk to train station and an easy 9 min commute to Bath spa. Found an amazing Italian restaurant 20 min if that walk, Lavianos, reasonably priced best Italian food we’ve had in a very long time.
What a beautiful little cottage in a peaceful setting! I wish I had been able to stay longer. Marjon was a lovely host, so friendly and thoughtful. Truly a gem of a property here. Highly recommended and will stay again if ever in the area.
Excellent service. Kath was an amazing host.
Very clean space and great location
Beautiful place and gorgeous place to go for tranquil walks.
Highly recommend her space to stay.
Quick train to Bath, Bristol, Corsham, Cardiff etc.
Cozy, comfy little budget hotel with a nice village vibe that made me feel a part of the community. Good value for the most part but noisy room next to the motorway. Kind, helpful staff made me feel like part of the family.
Stayed here for one night while looking to move to the area. Good location, a short walk from Keynsham high street. More than comfortable room and bed, and excellent breakfast included in the price.
The Crown Inn was a great place to stay. The pub below was inviting and friendly. The room was comfortable. They left a nice assortment of teas and coffees and snacks in the room.
