We stayed in Lascelles and this room didn't disappoint! The jacuzzi in the front bay window with the incredible view of the gardens is just perfect. The 4 poster bed is huge and i recommend you keep the curtains open so you wake up to the sun rise over the hills

Extremely clean and welcoming. A lovely gift was left for us to welcome us to the property from Quan, the owner. It was great having an on-suite and a bathroom. Everything we needed was in the property. Great location.

We loved our weekend in Knaresborough at the Christmas...
We loved our weekend in Knaresborough at the Christmas market and I would certainly recommend anyone to visit. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and lots of privately owned shops which is a bonus these days. A walk along the river is a must with a cafe to pop in for a hot chocolate when it’s chilly!

A beautiful place - so glad we didn't stay in Harrogate, as it is only 4 miles out.
Views from the castle ruin are stunning and shouldn't be missed.
Drive down to the riverside walk too
The fish and chip restaurant in town is very good.
The location is amazing.
The cottage sits on the waters edge. Cafes and pubs can be found alongside.
Steps can be located all along the waterside to the town centre above.
The cottage has a secluded seating area upstairs for guests in the upstairs rooms. Where you get the beautiful sights of boats on the river and of course the viaduct.
The downstairs room offers an added bonus of a secluded hot tub.
We choose to pay for a hot breakfast in a cafe nearby pointed out by the host.
A continental breakfast is available on site.
Great location just next to the train station so easy access if you don't want to use a car. Parking provision nearby was fine. Friendly and helpful staff who had a laugh with us. Breakfast could have been better but I think there was a staff issue that was temporary so no problem. We enjoyed our stay with our friends and would certainly go again, perhaps using the train system to get there. Knaresborough is a lovely town - good pubs and restaurants and we found plenty of walking by the river and up to the castle.
Breakfast was not included as it's self catering. We knew the location well as we had a static caravan there for four years but left five years ago. Now that the site allows Buy To Let we can go back more or less whenever we want & it's far better than being in a hotel. It's especially nice that they allow well behaved dogs to stay. As my dogs are allowed on our furniture & beds at home, I took throws to cover soft furnishings & also fed my dogs on the decking to ensure we kept the beautiful caravan clean.
The Blue Bell exceeded our expectations! Check-in was smooth and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Our room was exceptional - it had everything we needed with a large comfy bed, separate seating area and beautiful large bathroom. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant area which was superb! The breakfast the following morning was delicious, with a lot of choice and excellent coffee.
We would definitely recommend the Blue Bell and look forward to staying there again.
Loved everything. The location was perfect for exploring Knaresborough, everything in walking distance. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The bed was comfortable. Good choice at breakfast which was hot and tasty. We ate in on one evening and the food was very good we would eat their again. The pub/restaurant is beautifully decorated with plenty of little areas to sit and eat. Overall we were very happy and would stay again.
Great base if you want to explore the area, and the site itself is very clean with decent facilities, and some great walks you can do in the area. Dog friendly which was a must for us. Unfortunately the on site pub weren't serving food so we just ordered a takeaway which was delivered to reception to collect. The caravan was an excellent price and would highly recommend.
was lovely bright airy and spotless very comfortable with large tv, Wi-Fi, and added to all this a fully functional shared kitchen if wanting to cook yourself something.
Location is ideal right in the town centre.
Owner not at the premises but sent very clear and easy instructions. parking available.
Will definitely be our no1 choice on future visits to Knaresborough.
Lovely cosy place - perfect for our young family of 4. David the host was extremely lovely and we had Thai from his wife’s fish and chip shop (she does this every Saturday night) which was beautiful. It was so close to the town centre with loads of history to the property and local area. great facilities in the apartment. Will definitely stay there again!
i only stayed for the one night and had an evening meal which was nice and then breakfast in the morning and again was good. i didn't stay in the main hotel my room was situated at the rear of the hotel which i actually preferred. the room was really nice and clean and will definitely be staying again when I'm working in the area.
The room was modern and comfortable. The food at the bar was good and the staff super friendly. Little snafu with the booking as booking.com did not relay in message to hotel (so no fault of hotel) in regards to twin beds needed but we were able to take care of that at the hotel.
Great accommodation very close and short walk to Town centre.
Very clean and well equipped for anyones stay there and suited our needs for our 2night stay.
Owner contactable with prompt response to our queries.
Car Parking space few mins away from property.
5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The position of the hotel was brilliant, right in the centre of Knaresborough. The staff were really friendly & the Manager was lovely. The room was really clean & comfortable, with plenty of in-room refreshments provided including chocolate biscuits.
The property was excellent in many ways so it’s hard to pick just one point. If I had to, the best points would be the location which is perfect for the town centre and river walks. The cleanliness and high quality furnishings in the property.
The hotel is centrally located close to the market square in Knaresborough. The bed was a very comfortable and stylish four-poster and the quality of the breakfast was good.
Excellent town centre location and easy to find. Well equipped and very comfortable stay. Nice friendly hosts.
Especially liked the private courtyard area for relaxing.
