A Bedfordshire Getaway
Between 2 of England’s principal motorways, the M1 and A1(M), Luton is best known as an arrival point for cheap flights to London. A low cost carrier hub, Luton Airport is home to the unmistakable orange headquarters of Easyjet.
Booking.com offers hotels on the airport grounds, as well as accommodations including guesthouses in the town nearby, many of which offer free parking. But that isn't the only reason to visit.
Luton once had an important role in hat-making, an industry which has given its name to the Hat Factory performing arts venue. The town’s huge carnival is based in leafy Wardown Park, home of Luton Museum and Art Gallery.
Local crafts from yesteryear are displayed in the discovery center at Stockwood Park. Also here is one of the golf courses surrounding the town, and just east is a spa and swimming pool at the Luton Hoo country house hotel. Another golf course borders the Dunstable Downs to the west, and a third is by Whipsnade Zoo, the largest in the UK.
Luton shopping options include The Mall (previously the Arndale Centre), and the nearby station offers direct trains to London St. Pancras. Available restaurants cover everything from Indian to Caribbean and Malaysian.

It is absolutely crap.
It is absolutely crap. I arrived there at around 12.30 pm, to be told that the room I had pre-booked through booking.com was not available! According to the reception staff the hotel's computer had overbooked the rooms. Not good for a single woman arriving at the hotel after a long flight to Luton to find that the room I expected had been used for someone else. It was extremely inconvenient and upsetting, I was very tired. I will never book a Holiday Inn hotel again or use booking.com.AAnonymous - 6.0Scored 6.0

Liked: Moss house is clean, very close to Luton railway station, perfect for short stay if travelling from Luton Airport. My room was very comfortable, warm and quiet. There are two local supermarket close by if needed. Not liked: property needs a fridge in the kitchen also a dining table and four/six chairs. A spare WC 🚾 🚽 as there is only one Bath 🛀 room in the property. Other small additions of hooks in the bedroom and bath room. Host Raj was very helpful in providing local taxi details and was available when called for help. Airport was under construction and our driver was not able...
Airport was under construction and our driver was not able to drive up to the terminal so we had to walk 15-20 minutes to meet him at the long term parking lot. Buses were running 24/7, but did not seem to know about the bus stop right outside of our hotel for pickup or drop off. Security had me do the 360 scanner with several others despite having nothing in my pockets. An agent told me to keep my watch on and that was the only thing that could have set off the sensor. Another agent told others not to lean on the wall / initial sensor as it gives a false positive. Probably why so many of us were tagged for the additional screening. Not sure if the lady was an employee of EasyJet or Luton, but a rude lady was trying to get us to pay for our carry-ons to put in the overhead bins. We had no issues with putting our bags under our seats on the flight to Luton or on the return flight, but was told repeatedly we would need to pay for 3 of our 5 bags. We demonstrated repeatedly that they fit. Also not sure if it was EasyJet or Luton, but our 6:05am flight did not depart the terminal until 6:20am and after several stop, wait, go's along the way finally finished taxiing and was in the air at 7:16am.LouisUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

Early check-in friendly staff There was a lot of litter on the car park, i.e. blue paper towels Would’ve liked the airport, shuttle bus to stop outside the hotel as my wife is disabled. Unfortunately we had to walk quite a distance to the bus stop

There is only single and big problem, at Luton airport...
There is only single and big problem, at Luton airport nobody knows where can I have bus ticket, even the guys living in Luton said they don't know. I spent half an hour to ask ( even checking the automat machines) and learn for having the bus ticket. After asking tens of people I learnt that you have it in the bus by credit card. How come no body knows and how come there is no information at any where.

Beautiful apartment with hot tub bath & TV in bathroom the lightning was amazing full kitchen with everything you could need & more great value for money realy injoyed my stay at a fantastic price I will definitely be staying again 😀

I did ask if I wasn't posh enough fo the IBIS London, and the friendliness and openess of the staff was the start to a great stay! Room was quiet, I wanted to see the planes from my window but that was my only niggle. It must be COVID but I never enjoyed staying at Luton airport so much! Outside bar in the heat, nice wine, a walk away from the terminal and as I say great bloke behind the bar!

Uber from the airport at 2am cost us about £10 (we took a few steps away from the airport to reduce the price of Uber). I think choosing this hotel was a good idea. Instead of going to London in the evening/night and looking for an expensive room with no amenities there, we found that we would stay in Luton and go to London in the morning. At a lower price than London we got much more and with breakfast included!
