The room we stayed in was quirky & beautiful. Comfy bed & an amazing copper bath perfect fit for two people. Great selection of breakfast food and staff were lovely. We even got homemade cookies for our room & a fab selection of tea/coffee for our room.

The rooms were so spacious and decorated beautifully. The hotel is very charming and you feel really at home. Everything was thought about with a variety of teabags, oat milk and even calming spray in the bathroom.
Had everything I needed and more! Staff very friendly and accommodating. I had a great sleep and the location was so beautiful to wake up to in the sunshine. Exceptional value for money!

The village is very quaint, chocolate box pretty. There are very few shops in the village, but Tunbridge and Hastings are nearby.
The hotel decor is amazing, very quirky and imaginative. The bed was enormous and extremely comfortable. The evening meal was delicious. The only downside was the English breakfast, failing that would thoroughly recommend.

Ticehurst is a lovely little place, full of charm.
Ticehurst is a lovely little place, full of charm. It has 2 really excellent country inns: The Bell and The Bull (not to be confused). Both serve great food, with The Bell adding a modern twist and The Bull going more traditional. Both are worth a visit, though I recommend pre-booking.

There is a need to improve and upgrade the facilities and in particular to provide and much more substantial and varied breakfast.
I realise the room is trying to give a 'shabby chic' appearance, but the layout and facilities in the room need to be overhauled.

Ticehurst is a small Village with a few independent shops . We were using it as a base to visit family in Kent and the excellent Hever Castle , so didn't really explore the village fully . The destination was The Bell Inn .
We Loved the ambiance, the decoration and uniqueness of the building and the general demeanor of the very helpful staff. Even with a wedding taking place at the venue we were still looked after oand given plenty of smiles and good service. The room we stayed in was very comfortable especially the deluxe bed. The Inn itself was uniquely styled and has grown into its own skin. All areas were well furnished, stylishly put together and in keeping with the eclectic ideology of the designers without being OTT.
Had a first class experience there, room large very well & taste fully furnished, spotless clean, Juliet balcony overlooking golf course. Staff polite, helpful & very professional.Had a evening meal in restaurant A extremely talented chef, have eaten in a Michelin star restaurant, The chef at Dale Hill could teach Michelin. star chef how to cook ——-brilliant evening meal , excellent breakfast first class service.
I highly recommend this hotel. We will be returning
The chalet was lovely, clean and comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, cereals, bread, butter and jam plus orange juice. Convenient location and although on a busy road it is quiet. The pub up the road serves a great selection of food and is also a chippy for takeaways. The Cherry Tree Inn just 1.5 miles away towards Ticehurst has a lovely outside area and serves great food.
Wonderful place to stay, a real luxury birthday treat for my sister! The rooms were so lovely and a great size, the food was tasty here and the whole hotel felt very sophisticated! The sauna was great and made us feel amazing afterwards. Plus most of the staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly the reception staff and breakfast staff from our experience😊
Such a lovely night away. Pub has a lovely atmosphere, very busy and the tasting menu was delicious. Room was spacious and very clean with lots of lovely thought out bits, can definitely feel a lot of thought has gone into the rooms. Everyone we met was very friendly, especially Oscar who served us, what a star!
Would love to stay again!
Always loved eating at the Bell so thought we'd try it for a night while visiting Bedgebury lights. Rooms are as cool and quirky as downstairs and excellent for the price. Unfortunately we were in a room at the front which suffered from road noise which started at 5am and obviously increased during rush hour. Other than that, all good.
I was working late at the Priory Ticehurst, I am a mental health manager there
Meeting on Thursday went over time
Weather was atrocious...I live in Kent
Last minute booking at Dale Hill allowed me to stay over locally
Great reception staff
Great food
Wine was very expensive
£ 9 per glass of wine...only negative
The fridge was, amazingly, well stocked. There was every type of toiletry, imaginable, supplied for our use. It was, perfectly, clean, with no noise, @ all from passing traffic. I was staying, to attend my daughter's wedding in Ticehurst. It was, beautifully, furnished with a 'heart' theme, throughout. It was perfect.
Lovely spot, particularly in the sunshine. Staff were really helpful and friendly which made you feel very welcome. Room looked brand new and was really clean and comfortable. A good short walk to ticehurst center. We only had breakfast but all the lunch and dinner dishes looked delicious when we entered the pub.
What a fantastic pub and hotel. We had lunch in the garden which was really lovely and the food was very good. The staff were lovely too. Our room was awesome, so big and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. We will go back in the winter to sit by the fires. Great choice of rooms to pick from too.
We had a lovely time staying at the Forest Edge Hotel in one of their Chalets. The owner was very friendly and ready to help with anything we needed such as extra blankets etc. There are plenty of things to do and places to visit a short drive away. We are looking forward to staying again in the future.
The place was new, Many more items supplied than you get in most hotel rooms such as plates, glasses, cutlery oh and netflix, You could just go from your lodge to your car without interacting with others. Shower was one of the best I had had the pleasure of using. It had good pressure.
